ever since may 09 i have been charge for services with this company that i did not request,tried to call many timesand no one answers as they know whos calling and what the call is about so far the ammount is close to 100 plus.how can embarq let this people do this to thir customers i do not know but it sure hurts the wallet and even more when they tell you is your fault,and you deal with it,how can they get all the peronal info to screw you its beyond me ,idid not give it.gues i have to contact the puc,fcc,radio,tv and members of congress to get some results.it must be nice to steal from everyone but your own family. Id like to assure you that ILD strongly condemns and does not participate in cramming which is the practice of placing unauthorized or misleading charges on a telephone bill.
We process over 120 million transactions each year for buyers and merchants thats over a half of a billion dollars in purchases, and only a small fraction result in disputes and chargebacks, just like with credit cards. When there are disputes, ILD investigates these with its merchants and makes sure that credits are applied back to the phone bill, just like credit card company standards.
ILD continually monitors complaint levels against the merchant who the bills through us, and if we find a merchant in violation of our policies, we have and will terminate their billing agreement.
