The Region of Peel seems to have more money than it knows what to do with. Region of Peel Employment Services Supervisor Lisa Hartley and Region of Peel Commissioner of Human Services Janet Menard informed me that the Peel Employment Resource Centre at 10 Peel Centre Dr. in Brampton is intent on unnecessary so called "upgrades" to the centre's computers despite user objections. The "upgrades" are intended to needlessly inconvenience Centre users. The new computers have no built-in 3.5" floppy diskette drives nor will they accept external drives. They are thus useless for the vast majority of Centre users. Peel Region taxpayers shouldn't be forced to pay for unnecessary "upgrades" that the Centre's users don't even want. When will taxpayers tell the Region of Peel to stop all this wasteful and out of control spending?
The Brampton Guardian Newspaper refused to publish this letter to the editor despite the fact that it was sent multiple times. Why won't the Brampton Guardian cover all the waste, corruption and mismanagement in Peel Region?

More Illegality in Peel Region
AUTHOR: - ()
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, April 15, 2015
The Region of Peel is now illegally spying on patrons electronically by recording websites visited and information downloaded and linking this information specifically to users. They also have blocking software in place to deny access to any sites they don't approve of. They implement all this criminality by getting patrons to agree to in the contract when they sign up for computer access. They've also wasted thousands of dollars on unnecessary flat panel TV screens for the employment centre to confuse/hypnotize/brainwash patrons and refuse to take them down if you complain about them. Regional Councillor Gael Miles, Commissioner of Human Services Janet Menard and the other clowns at the Region of Peel and Region of Peel Council won't do a thing about this. They're far too busy stuffing their pockets at taxpayer expense. They spend all their time laughing at all the dumb idiots who vote for them and pay their salaries. The Brampton Guardian will never cover any of this since they're getting their pockets stuffed by Region of Peel advertising and by all the big money corporate lobbyists. The Region of Peel receives funding for everyone who attends this centre and signs in. Deny them as much funding as possible by telling everyone you know to boycott the centre. If their funding dries up, all the staff that implemented these changes will be fired and their whole operation will fold like a house of cards.
TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO VOTE FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN GAEL MILES AND BOYCOTT THE REGION OF PEEL EMPLOYMENT SERVICES!
