Register.com is at it again. Already stole one of my domain names after I had it hitting on Google.com. If your payment for your domain name is one day late, they send you a notice saying 'please take care of this at your earliest convenience'.. lulling you into believing they are not in a hurry for a payment, and not any mention that your domain service will be interrupted. One business day later, the domain service is interrupted, and your domain name points to a page where it can be bidded on by domain name buyers. This is the second time they have done this with me. I am moving my domain to another hosting company. Don't let these scammers use up your hard earned money and time building up a domain name and SEO for that domain only to let them STEAL it!

It's still your domain

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, June 26, 2010

There is a 45 day grace period followed by a 30 day redemption period after a domain expires in which the domain cannot be sold. If you failed to pay the web hosting company they certainly can suspend your web link and email service. Just because someone can bid on a domain does not mean that it is available for sale. Pay for the domain renewal before that 75 days is up and you will not lose your domain.
