I am flight crew so I get all kinds of crazy hotels, some good, some not so good *cough cough DTW*. First off, to the person in Shanghai, you need to wake up and smell the coffee....homophobia is just as illegal as racism and is punishable by the law and we do not need any religious propoganda crap being thrown around. Church and state are seperate for a reason and it will never change. Secondly, it doesn't matter who you are, if you pay for a service, you should get what service you paid for and nothing less.

It is true that Super 8 is a franchise business and you have to check out with the natives prior to your stay. But you accuesed black folks of being anti-sodomite. "Gay", "trans", "dom", "glbt", "transgendered", "femme", "femdom", "cross dressing", "homophobe" and "homophobic" are not in the English language for sodomites and sodomy. Gay means happy, merry, light-hearted. The fear of man bringeth a snare, but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. Homo = man. Phobia = fear I don't fear man and neither does any normal, red-blooded patriotic, clean living, decent, God fearing American.

I can understand your complaints about the hotel room being dirty, but as for the supposed "homophobia" of the desk clerks? Don't get me started; that's the pot calling the kettle black, especially with your blatantly racist "PATELS" statement at the end of your alleged complaint.

Be sure to let them know the case number from your first call and advise them that the management has not contacted you (they are required to do so - or prove to the franchise that they have made an effort).

Beth I went all the way to the Windam. They own all the Super 8's franchises and they told me they could do nothing. The mananger never calls me back EVER. It has been since April.

Well, Let me tell you this.. He did know we were a couple we did explain it to the idiot. He intentionally gave us a room with vomit on the floor.

What does homophobia have to do with anything? They saw two women arrive, and naturally assumed that you would need two separate beds (most women do not sleep together in the same bed). It does not sound like you specified to the clerk that you two are lovers and must sleep in the same bed.

At any rate, there was no reason why you could not have combined the two double beds to form one large bed, or even slept in one of the double beds (a double bed can fit 2 people). It does not sound like you adequately explained your unique situation to the hotel clerk on duty that day -- he helped you to the best of his ability based on the limited knowledge he had.

DO NOT PATRONIZE AT SUPER 8 HOTELS.

THEY ARE HOMOPHOBIC AND ARE THE TRASHIEST HOTELS AROUND!
