Resellers, VARs, Managed Security Providers, BEWARE very WARE. This company, Secure Resolutions Inc, led by misleading CEO Douglas Cottle does not provide the services presented i.e. Managed Security, Anti-Cyber Crime, etc. Cottle will entice you to sign a reseller contract and when you finally discover that the service does not work. Cottle will attempt to enforce the written contract and even threaten to take you to court. He will lose in court, if you have the financial resources and time, after an exhausted financial battle but his attempt is to intimidate you to fulfill the contract that was deceitful in its conception.
Before doing business with Secure Resolutions, or Douglas Cottle you should complete a backgrounder by consulting with some of the vendors at CompTia. Cottle claims to have won some awards with this organization but you will discover that they were attained through payment rather than actual awards of achievement; members of this professional organization will confirm of Secure Resolutions miss-offerings and the executive staff incompetence in the industry. Come to find out Cottle stole the idea while working at MacAfee. Some of the original programmers will confirm this as McAfee is investigating infringements and patent issues.
Also check public records to confirm claims of Cottle's legal action against resellers and resellers who have legal action against Cottle and Secure Resolutions. Some quick references include:

WARNING, if you sign a contract with Cottle, and or Secure Resolutions, you will be threatened and intimidated to purchase license quantities agreed to regardless of whether the product works or not. Several resellers have lost clients because the solution does not properly work. So in addition to losing clients you will lose due to the legal expenses to defend yourself and assets against Cottle's threatening style. BE WARNED. Check with others to confirm this claim. These guys are the green in the slime of scum!
Some of the resellers have indicated that this company is being investigated by the Arizona Corporation Commission and that their time is limited as its being discovered that there may be investor fraud and misleading information about Cottle's background to investors and resellers.
Cottle also attempted to sue the originating law firm of the corporation White and Lee in Oregon and lost. Cottle's a real winner when in comes to business partnerships. Be warned.

I've been watching this cautiously and here is a recent example of what JJ is talking about. Check out another filing from the Cottles; go to:

I just can't believe we continue to see these guys even around. Their reputation in the industry and market is absolutely terrible. Check out all of the other legal issues and web postings about these scammer, spammers, and spoofs.
They should spend their energy eating fewer Snickers bars and trying to clear their investors investments from the Arizona Corporation Commission investigation. This guy really took advantage of a bunch of rather unitelligent investors and it's just a matter of time when, well, the Snicker bar lays it last log. Absolutely amazing that such an obvious fraud continues. Only in Arizona.
