We signed our contract with Shasta Pools on the 5th of July, 2005. We were promised a completed pool within 4 to 6 weeks. By the 28th of September, roughly 10 weeks later, we filed a complaint with the BBB because all we had in our backyard was a hole in the ground. Our phone calls were not being returned and no one was making an effort to work on our pool. The day after I sent my complaint, I was contacted by Gary Stewart, General Manager of Shasta in Mesa, telling me that they would finish the pool right away and send us a refund at completion and the complaint was closed and labled "Resolved" by the BBB.
Our pool was finished (The wall that was supposed to built around that A/C unit per Pinal County code was never built.) on the 15th of December. No refund was ever sent. To add insult to injury, the gates that Mr. Stewart claimed to have given to us were subsequently billed to us, and the pool is now leaking.

Ron, im sorry to hear what happened with your recent expierence with Shasta Pools. As a pool builder, I must tell you just because Shasta is the biggest pool builder, does not mean it is the best! There are many small family owner companies like mine who can build a beautiful pool, for less money and less hassel. You must research any contractor you use for any home improvemnet projects. Next time, try using someone with less complaints about them. Go to the az roc website or bbb az before you sign any contracts!

P.S. A pool will only take 6 to 8 weeks to build depending on the cnstruction season and materials available. Shasta pool cares about QUANTITY NOT QUALITY!!!!!
