Sommer Auto Sales in Reynoldsburg Ohio is a joke.
I bought a 2004 Chevy Cavalier from them. The car seemed in fine shape when I bought it but the trouble began after I did. First, the brakes were messed up, they squealed so loud everytime I braked. I got those fixed but really was no help because it still squeals a little when I brake. Second, the check engine light came on and never went off. Supposedly it was a sign that the alternator was basically dead and because of that it was messing up the car battery which caused the car to completely die on me and my husband off the freeway one day. We got all these issues fixed which really we could not afford. This is what frustrates me the most. After getting repairs, the check engine light came back on and the piece of junk rocks when coming to a stop and knocks when driving.
I am a VERY pissed customer. Also, they are using the excuse that since me and my husband have been late on our payments for the car, they had to delay giving us the title. Well, this is ridiculous because when we bought the crap, the salesman said that when you pay the downpayment in full, they automatically give you the dang title. I have to keep getting temp tags which is illegal because they "supposedly" do not have the title. What!? Hypocritical much!
Also, their customer service sucks. When discussing the issues with them, clearly they thought I was dumb as hell because they kept feeding me the bullshit that used cars break down all the time. Yeah, they do but not like every single day. What is up with these people!?
And who the heck sells cars as is? Oh yeah, fake and shady people which is exactly what these "salesmen" are. Do not buy anything from Sommers not even a candy bar from their vending machines, I'm sure they messed around with that like they do with the cars. Also, the cars are way overpriced for how low quality they are.
Screw these people. I will be seeing them in court and I will get justice!

I appreciate the response but you don't know what you are talking about. You don't have the car, so you don't know. Sorry but its true. I have not neglected the car whatsoever. This auto company has been in the news because of complaints several times. So you don't know what you are talking about. I suggest you keep your pointless comments to yourself.

How did the brakes perform during the test drive?

That is an indication of an oil pressure or engine cooling problem. Stop driving immediately.

You continued to drive the car with an oil pressure problem. BAD IDEA. That is negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Many used car dealers sell cars AS IS. Many offer warranties. This is nothing new.

You were not forced to purchase the car.

Good luck with that plan. You are delinquent on your payments for a vehicle you neglected and purchased AS-IS.
