We purchased the StoresOnline package last fall and later purchased the professional services of PMI coaching. I have read with interes the issues stated here as we are experiencing many, if not all, of the same treatment. I would be inteested in knowing is anyone successfully received a refund. Has any class action suit been filed? Would I be better off to cut my losses now to save finances and peace of mind? David Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

PMI and why they are a SCAM

AUTHOR: Formerpmi - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 19, 2006

I will make this short, you can see a detailed breakdown of the PMI sales pitch under one of two reports filed on the 7th about PMI.

They are not a scam just because of their poor services(though that is part) but mainly because how they misrepresent those services in the sales pitch. A few main points:

1:they tell you that you are one of a few people on a success team designed to create success stories for them......This is not true, you are one of thousands of people who they overload their "coaches with". You get one half hour, once a week with him. He is working with few hundered people a week.

2:People get upset when they fail because PMI gurantees they wont fail!!! But they never use that word, they say "warranty" but then strongly imply that it is a gurantee, they tell you that 87% of their students succeed!! That is a blatent lie.Very few do succeed, which would be OK, the internet is hard to succeed on even with help, SO DONT LIE AND SAY THEY CANT FAIL.

3:They get your Credit Card info and tell you "it is to help you build a business". No, the "closer" is looking at those numbers to see how much he can take you for, you get the EXACT same help no matter how much you pay them, they just fill in fake tools to make it seem like more. I am ashamed to say I have done this myself.

I am out of time, and cannot leave my email on here, but anyone who would like to know more about the innerworkings of this scam, just post a question and I will respond as an ashamed Ex-employee. I must say I would give anything to have the opportunity to apologize to those I ripped off. I really didnt know what I was doing, they keep their saled guys in the dark. Also I invite those in PMI's defense to post your defense! I will prove your every point a lie.

Nigerian scam?

AUTHOR: Alina - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 11, 2004

What is the Nigerian scam? Here's why I ask. I have been one of the very unsatisfied customers of Storesonline and PMI. I think they do operate with numerous names, but acctually they all are one company, in disquise, trying to out run the law. I am currently seeking a refund. When I began making noise about a refund because I don't think I got what I'd been promised on my site regardless of all the efforts I was prompted to do by them, no sales, and as I was growing tired of their lack of support except for telling me to buy more advertising from...one of their other providers, I got a weird offer from Nigeria to buy over $200.00 of my store merchandise. I told them I was out of business. The funny thing is, the emial address of the suppossed buyer was "seeandbuyforallstores"! Did they think this sale would appease me? I'm currently seeking people to go in on a class action suite with me against SToresonline/ PMI. I'm trying to find way to get emaol addresess from this site of other unhappy Storesonline/PMI clients.

Will STORESONLINE stop writing false rebuttals?

AUTHOR: Gary - (Australia)

POSTED: Monday, March 01, 2004

Hello to all those folks who come here trying to find out the truth about Storesonline, Galaxy Mall, Imergent,PMI and all the other "identities" that they have.

If you follow the threads in most of the complaints and read the "Rebuttals" it becomes abundantly clear that they have been written by people working for Storesonline or people allied to their operation. (Like who else would even bother????)

Wow! Is this site stirring them up or what? I reckon they check it every day to see the latest complaints. HELLO Storesonline!

Dennis is right. PMI is just another accomplice in the chain. All they want, after you realize that you cannot build the Storesonline site without help (which is NOT what they tell you in their wonderful seminars), is MORE MONEY! It's as close as you can get to the Nigerian scam. Just keep feeding the lie - only more sophisticated. Eventually, everybody realizes they have been taken BUT not until 1000's of dollars have been ripped off from you.

If staffers and accomplices have to go to the trouble of writing these ABSOLUTELY ridiculous rebuttals you just have to wonder why. I guess they are intimidated by this site. THEY SHOULD BE. This site gives case after case after case of people who were promised everything yet received nothing but grief in return.

I actually get a great laugh out of reading the complete crap written in the so-called "rebuttals." They are moronic in the extreme. Who do they think they are fooling?

Hey, can the next "rebuttal" be a bit more convincing? You guys at Storesonline need to get somebody more professional to write in.

With so many disgruntled people being ripped off how does this company keep getting away with it? Don't you guys in the US have regulatory authorities who can intervene and act in these matters? This method of doing business CANNOT be legal, surely!

My opinion is that Storesonline and all its derivatives should be shut down permanently for fraud. They are nothing but confidence tricksters. They prey on people who have little or no knowledge of building websites. They also prey on people who, stupidly, (e.g. me) trust them on face value. That was my only mistake - I believed their convincing lies. I guess thousands of others have too.

"Come into my web said the spider to the fly..."

Keep posting your reports here folks. It does make a difference. These frauds will find it harder and harder to keep deceiving people while this site exists.

PS: Why don't you folks at www.ripoffreport.com do a bit of investigating to find out who people like "John" really are? Surely you have their email addresses. I thought Miami was in Florida - NOT Utah.

That was NO answer at all "John" ..take notice of the many reports here BEFORE you hand over any money to Storesonline.

AUTHOR: Gary - (Australia)

POSTED: Friday, February 27, 2004

Gee John,

You should be in politics. Your ability to "answer" a question without answering it at all is very cunning indeed.

Since you say you will not be back (I'm sure you won't be able to resist just a little peek) and will treat all future comments with "silence" then I suppose we will never find out the answer to my question. However, I'll repeat it for other viewers to see:

"Just to help us all out here could you please state unequivocally that you are NOT a storesonline, NetGateway, Galaxy Mall or PMI employee, ex-employee, friend, acquaintance or relative just posting rebuttals to deflect all the criticisms."

I guess we will NEVER know.

One thing I have detected though - your style of writing is very similar to some emails I received directly from storesonline. They, too, were high on personal criticism and pushing the line that people had to take responsibility for their failings.

My main point still remains UNRESOLVED. Is there anybody out there with a storesonline site that they are happy with or proud of?

Here are some other questions:

1 - Is there ANYBODY who feels they received value for money when dealing with Storesonline?

2 - Is there anybody who feels that the Storesonline marketers told the truth in their presentation and dealings BEFORE they got your money?

3 - Does anybody feel that they were not lied to?

4 - Has anybody felt satisfied with the "Storesonline" experience - especially getting any emails or telephone calls answered?

If so, let's hear from you. PLEASE share your positive experience with us. Let us visit your website so we can at least see ONE happy customer.

Is there anybody out there able to do this?

All I detect at this site and several others like it are BAD, BAD reports about Storesonline - all mirror images of my own rotten personal experience with them.

When you trust a company to deliver what it says it will and then find out that you have been duped, tricked and conned it is a very unpleasant experience. This is how I believe Storesonline conducts its business. They sell you a swan in a box and when you get it home you find out that it is a duck (and a lame one at that).

By the way, John, thanks for your sermon on personal accountability. "Quack. Quack."

Regards to all the honest people who come here seeking information. I hope you take notice of the many reports here BEFORE you hand over any money to Storesonline.

Calling Gary ..easier to find fault with others when we fail than it is to accept responsibility for our own shortcomings.

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 27, 2004

Gary,

PMI helped me start my business online, and I still have a lasting relationship with the company. No, I will not tell you the name of my website for privacy related issues. I cannot vouch for the other companies you mentioned in the text of your message, but PMI was worth its weight in gold. I'm sorry if you had a bad experience with the company, but my experience was much different.

I found the ripoffreport website while searching on Google, and this is the last time that I will be back. Response to this message will be met with silence.

My interest in these matters is simple. In my experience, it is easier to find fault with others when we fail than it is to accept responsibility for our own shortcomings. This applies to all areas of our lives. We blame the T.V. for corrupting our kids and values, when it is so simple to just pull the plug. We blame the boss for firing us when we never come to work on time.

It really never is our fault, is it Gary?

Good luck to all of you.

Where's the beef?

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 25, 2004

I have read through the complaints listed at this website and those listed at a handful of others, and I'm not really sure what the real issue is here. I am waiting for someone to at least acknowledge some fault in their experience with PMI Coaching and Stores Online. I don't mean some comment like, "The only mistake I made was believing the lies of those snakes!" I'm talking about something like, "I know that there is risk in business, and maybe I just don't have what it takes to be successful." This would be a real good start.

I worked with PMI Coaching to help me with my site, and the information they gave me was informative and very useful. Sure I could have gotten the information from other sources, but it would have taken me a longer time than I was willing to wait. I was told by my coach that this was risky and that I may not make money, but I had to try. Do the people who post these complaints really understand this issue? Obviously not. They are more concerned with fault finding and making excuses.

I saw some listings posted by those who are "educated," and have a lot of friends who are also "educated." Who cares! I'll bet that I don't read any ripoffreport about how the college they got their degree from ripped them off. How many people go to college and don't get top salaries from companies when they graduated? Do they ask for their money back? I doubt it. The coaching program is to help educate the population on starting a business, not to hand them a million dollars for a good effort.

Does anyone wonder about all the people, like myself, who were helped by PMI? They must work with thousands of people around the country. Where are their complaints? Do you think that all of them are upset about the program? I doubt it. This is business people, and if you can't handle losing money trying to make it big, I suggest you stick to the 9-5 job you already have. Business is NOT for you!
