You will get paid $44.00 per install, and that is if it ever gets installed. You are expected to work long hours regardless of the weather and not allowed to come back to their office until after 8 at night. If you don't know how to lie, don't worry cause they will cleverly teach you how to lie in order to obtain the sale. They teach you to lie to the customer and tell them that the reason YOU don't participate in their insurance companies glass program is due to the quality of glass they use. Here's the real reason! NO insurance company wants anything to do with Coast to Coast Auto Glass! They use Pilkington glass, and so does plenty of other glass shops, and guess what, many of those glass shops DO participate in the insurance companies glass program. So, it's not the glass they use, it's the company themselves with such a horrible reputation throughout the insurance world!
I worked for them, but not for long. When I realized that they were doing nothing but filling our heads up with a lot of hyped up junk, and doing a bit more research on the company itself, I smartened up and bailed! The absolute last straw for me was when I got stopped by a police officer who threatened to take me to jail when I told him who I worked for. That was it for me! I don't have a problem going door to door, but I do have a problem working for a company that could cost me my freedom.
Just do yourself a favor, if you get a call from a young lady claiming to be from Vanguard or Port City Promotions, or whatever other name they might be calling themselves, HANG-UP the phone! Any company they are using, when you finally discover that they are representing Coast to Coast Auto Glass, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY! No job is worth costing anyone their freedom!
