Last month I sent a packet of $8 stamps to an online company called The Doors Collectors Magazine in order to recieve in return one copy of a Doors live concert from 9.10.72 recorded on a CDR.

This company does not accept cash payments, so stamps are the only medium of "payment" they accept; other than a trade. I've dealt with this company in the past and they were reliable, so I did not hesitate to deal with them again.

However, this time they are something other than desirable. I called them about 2 weeks ago to inquire about my order and the guy on the other line said that they have recieved my stamps and that I should look out for my order "soon".

Well, it has been another 3 weeks and still nothing. So I called them up yesterday and no answer. I called again no answer. I emailed them and no reply. I left a message and no return call. I have been ripped-off!

Customers own fault for problems

AUTHOR: Kerry Humpherys - (USA)

This order was sent out the day after it was received...However the customers handwriting was so bad that we xeroxed his return address on the label when the order was sent out because none of us could read it. Obviously the postal people couldnt read it either because two weeks later we recieved the package back in the mail.

There was no other contact information - No phone - No email - so there was nothing we could do.  When customer left a message on our voice mail complaining about not recieving his order, he left no phone number for us to call him back! No email was ever sent as customer reported. We do everything we can to follow up with people who arent happy, but we do not have ESP. Finally customer called during business hours and we wrote his address down and resent package and he received it. The Doors Collectors Magazine has been in business for 19 years and this is the only complaint... Id say a pretty good track record.

What customer said is true...after all his whining and unprofessionalism, I told him I didn't want to ever deal with him in the future.

Kerry

Rude email

AUTHOR: Nmfn21 - (U.S.A.)

They finally responded back with a couple of emails. The second email was particularly rude in its tone telling me to "never order here again" and that I "wasted his time". They are mad because I filed a report with the BBB, but I wouldn't have done that had they simply returned my phone call, which they didn't. By the way, I still have not recieved the item yet(as of 6/5/09).
