Purchased couch/recliner chairs from The Roomstore. Had some hesitations. But the description of the post sales service and the promise that any issues would be taken care of, stains, etc., with the extended service offered, we decided to take a shot at the Roomstore's products.

BIG mistake.

Couch needed repairs, seam already coming apart. Stuffing in chairs already collapsing, one arm rest cover coming undone at the seam where it is sewn to the chair. So you can pick up the arm pad a few inches off the chair.

Called service. Took a couple of weeks to just get the third party service people to my home. This is worse than an HMO for health care. Once in my home, sure enough, things needed to be fixed. But, the cushion for which the seam is coming apart could not be repaired. It is a part that needed to be ordered. Third party dude had to report back to the Roomstore and wait.

Well wait we did. I called Roomstore customer service over and over. Told I'd be called back. NEVER called back. Matter of fact no matter how many times they said they'd call back, they NEVER called back. What a waste.

Third party guy was in my home in April to do the first visit. Seam came apart before that. As of today, June 10, NO part. Roomstore has told me everything imagninable about the "problems". Part was in, not in, no one knows where the part is, now reordered and SUPPOSE to be in June 20th. IN mind you, NOT installed.

In the sales process a certain level of service was both spoken, implied if you will, and part of the sales contract. However the Roomstore does not honor any of its obligations.

This is a misrepresentation in the sales process, borders to me any way on fraud. I've reported to the BBB here in Arizona. Want to do more.

So what do we do next?
