To the State of Utah and Govenor Olene S. Walker,

I just took a look at the number of reports posted here at RipOffReport.com. What I found was alarming and shocking. There were 753 reports filed just this year alone. Now 754 with my report here.

What I am noticing may be way off base. But an observation none the less. Your State seems to be in the subject material of many reports. There seems to be many companies that enjoy safe harbor within your borders. I have to wonder if this is a trend in how and where corporate raiders choose their headquarters.

I have visited your State and found it to be quite beautiful. I have seen first hand the Great Salt Lake and swam in its splendor and wonder. I have also seen the Mormon Tabernacle. What an amazing edifice! However, when I view the disgustingly and saddening number of reports of questionable yet even fraudlike companies associated with your State, the beauty and grandure of your State deminishes dramatically.

I am calling on your Officials, Police Departments and other related agencies associated with Commerce in your State to take action. Read about the companies who have found themselves a "hideout" in your great State and bring them to final justice. This is not the wild west we live in anymore. This is a civilized world with a troubled present and an uncertain future. With action and decisive legislation on the part of your State, you can begin to stem the tide of the bad publicity that befalls your State. You can also set the standards by which other States can respond. In essence, you can lead by example.

So, in closing...Please, respond by issuing a Statewide Restraining Order to all companies who move beyond your borders practicing Interstate and World Wide Scams meant to seperate people from their hard earned money. Please keep these companies restricted to your own State untill you have cleared them to travel. True enough, there needs to be probable cause and a preponderance of the evidence before you can take action. Take a look at the reports here. That should be more than enough to create doubt and probable cause. And, it should be more than enough to take affirmative steps toward brining these legal criminals down.

I sincerely hope that someone in power from your State is reading this and taking my words seriously. Remember, your interstate trade and tourism depends on how you present yourselves...now and in the future.

Respectfully,

Silverstar Reporter

Utah State Officials are the CROOKS not the companies

AUTHOR: Victim Defense - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, October 28, 2010

Your letter is well written.  The issue is not companies that do crime in Utah, Its Utah government that does crime against people and companies.  Do your research.  The New York Times reported Utah as rated the 15th most corrupt state in the Nation.

One individual I know was extorted by the AG office to pay fines or face 40 years in their prison.  A week after he paid the fines, the director of Utah Securities Dept, Wayne Klein resigned facing termination and prosecution for abuse of power and false prosecution.

When your write your opinions, maybe you would better serve the public by knowing the subject better,

Paul

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Because I see day in and day out reports about companies in the State of Utah, I felt it necessary to bring this back into the public's eye.

It is really sad how one state can harbor so many questionable companies. Will the State of Utah please read our complaints and hold these companies to accountability?

Thank you!
