To' And Mo' Towing when asked about the price, they were unclear and responded that they will bill me later Santa Ana California

They were refered by the CHP. So at first I thought they were trustworthy. BUT THEY AREN'T. My car was towed in at 6pm on a tuesday. I knew it would cost more to fix my car than the value of it. So I knew I would have to sell it to the junk yard. Which is supposedly a service they provide next door to them which sare the same name: To' and Mo' Dismantler.

They claimed that even though they shared the same name, they are not the same company. The convinced me to keep my car at their lot for over the night. When I asked how much it would cost me, they were very unclear and unwilling to tell me. They told me that I would need to call the insurance company of my car to clear it and they will bill me later even after I told them repeatedly that I only had liability coverage. So the next day I went back, and they were gonna charge me $240 for towing and storage. And they told me that they will take care of my car and will tow it to a junkyard.

I felt unease about it. So I talked to a friend of mine who's an highway patrol officer from a different city. He told me if they were going to take my car, they shouldn't charge for the towing. Even if what's left of my car is metal scraps, it's till worth something. So as he suggested, I called Pick Your Part junkyard. Even they told me that I was being scammed. They offered me that they would buy my car. But they would have to pick it up the next day.

So the next morning I went back to To' and Mo'. They were quite rude knowing that I have called a different junkyard. Now for 2 days of storage, they told me they are charging me $310. When I look into the receipt, it's written 3 days of storage. I argued with them that my car was even there for 48hours, but they insist on all the things I had to pay. They even charge me a gate fee which they explain is the fee I had to pay when I took my belongings out of my car in their lot. They upsetting part was when my car was about to tow, they told me not to get anything for my safety and just to take my belongings later after they parked my car in their lot. Yet, they never once told me that I will be charge for taking my belongings out of my own car.

I don't trust them. DO NOT USE this company for any towing!
