Total Mortgage Corporation fradulent advertising Brighton Michigan

The company by the name of Total Mortgage Corp. based in Livonia, MI advertised re-financing with low closing costs at my place of employment by displaying flyers in company breakroom. We called the company and spoke with the branch manager who indicated that our closing costs for the refinance wouldn't exceed $450, so we locked in at that point in time. Three days prior to closing, they sent us a good faith closing agreement with closing costs in excess of $1400, and when we confronted about the closing costs, the company indicated that they could no longer extend us the low closing cost offer because market conditionshad shifted.

When we reported this company to the Better Business Bureau of SouthEast Michigan, Total Mortgage Corp made up some lie, suggesting that we never informed them of the flyer until 3-days after the closing.
