I am an at risk loan applicant...After a breach of contract with the dealer...and new contract with them, the dealership came up with these people (TranSouth Financial/12/2000) as a lender for my purchase of an auto. I also lost my job, the dealer and this company required, my bank accounts, husbands info, my job wages, and other papers just to get the car off the lot. I did tell them when I took the car back to them, to take the keys and I'd find someplace else...but, insisted they had these people and things would be okay. Now- 2nd contract with dealership and this lender (2000)...I was told the lender, TranSouth Financial would work with me, blah, blah blah...crap!

They call telling me they're coming for the car in 24 hrs, or that I must have payments in before 5pm or there's nothing they can do to help me...even when I call them in advance that I might have a payment problems they still call 30 times to make me pay...telling me to find a friend or someone who owes me money that might help me pay my debt to TranSouth. I stayed panicked all the time...They said they would mark my credit, I said go ahead, don't threaten me anymore about it just do it. Just the other day, 6/30/2004...my son got upset about this last episode with this company...they had called @ failure notice of payment to them and left msg. that they would have to take action against me...Boy was I %$#@^%$, I called the SOB Back!

Here's how they conduct business...."We show that you are in arrears in payment of 35 days...and we have made attempts to contact you and no reply from you, so you need to resolve this matter today before 5pm, or there is nothing I can do, are you willing to make your payment over the phone?" " I sent your company a check this morning and yes it is late by only 5 or 7 days sir, and all the rest of this stuff you're talking about, I don't know of. I have paid every 2 month- 2 payments each, to try to stay ahead and not fall behind..no one has called my home recently from your company so I don't know what you're talking about failure notices and arrears...whats that?" "you have May payment due," "NOPE! It's paid." "we show you owe that and now 35 days delinquent, and because lack of insurance..." "Whoa, I talked to Mr Costner in N.J. Dec.03 and we fixed that problem through my ins. co., then mr. costner called again in @ Feb. with the same thing..I told him again to re-check what your company is doing with the accounts and records there." then he says, "I'm in North Carolina and have nothing to do with the New Jersey office..." I said,"you don't have a community network computer page like my insurance company does to check out everything you claim I haven't done?"

He said."I have here. whats your ss# again, it shows you have a bad credit history in payments with us and lack of ins at some point and 35 days in arrears in payments as of may 03." I said, "I have a lawyer I can have call you , and you can talk to him"..."We have lawyers to", "Great let's get them together, your people and my people and I'LL pay!" I have proof of everything I do @ you people and my ins. is tired of you too...so what do you want from me now..I told you my payment is mailed today, to you, for 2 months payment." He says, "put a stop check on it an we can do it by the phone today and help your account stay open", "I am not paying to stop a perfectly good check just so your company can have my numbers!

If you want the other proof of other paperwork (ins./pymnts), I'll fax it by 5pm today, including the paper your company sent me @ re-inserting funds back to my account due to your own companys error about the mistake on my insurance!." He said,"OK." I have receipts from office max, just to have someone else's verification of this and to keep more of a paper trail @ this company. This is just the recent stuff...it's always like this with these people. They just don't know what office is doing what...I feel it's on purpose...because others like me in and out of work or life changing situations causing multiple events, people lose their paperwork or don't make copies expecting companies like these to keep their word about helping you out and keeping pertinent record-keeping documents on file in one's records in case one of us is at loss with paperwork, in tough times...they know you need that car or house or whatever they're financing for someone, they just want the money at any cost or way of nerve wracking someone to death over to get it.

I was going to pay off the car in dec 03, but changed my mind, the total was just over 10K left on 5 years of payments....I check my statements from them and now it's still just over 10K! how do they keep adding stuff when they clearly can't and no one will take them down? Come make me find as many of mine as I can...let's see what I can do if no one else wants to or will.
