Trugreen Chemlawn - Lenexa Continues to bill after cancellation Shawnee Kansas

We cancelled our service with Trugreen back in the summer of 2008 after they continued to spray our lawn every 2 to 3 weeks rather than the 4 to 6 weeks they stated when we signed up. We had complained previously, and they promised that they would only come every 6 weeks if we maintained our service. Soon, they were back to their old tricks again, showing up every 2 to 3 weeks. So we called up and officially cancelled. They didn't show up for a few months, and then they started showing up again. We caught them twice trying to spray our lawn and turned them away, but they finally showed up when no one was home and then left a bill on the door for $56.99. We called and complained, and were told that we had never cancelled our service.

Now they are sending us to collection for the $56.99.
