I purchased an extended warrenty for my car from US Fedelis at 1-800-704-0967. I was told that i was purchasing comprehensive coverage. Different company's use different names for the type of coverages you can purchase. However when i specificaly asked if it was bumper to bumper coverage i was told that it covered everything but oil changes, wippers, tires, brakes you know the normal wear and tear. I once more asked so i have full coverage bumper to bumper except for normal maintenance just like when you buy a newcar from a dealer and repeated like oil changes, tune ups, wippers they said yes.
The rep even stated you will have all parts covered trans, heads, hoses, electrical, etc, etc. I stated what would my deductable would be responce only $100.00 do i have to pay anything else. No just take it in and you pay $100.00 we take care of the rest directly with the dealer.
They even called a dealer and the dealer said he heard of them. I once more asked ok let me get this right i pay $100.00 thats it, you guys pay the rest and i just have to do my normal maintenance everything else is covered on my car with no problems, response was correct.
One month later i get my paper work stating my coverages and Royal Administration Services, Inc. with the number 1-800-871-0467. I called becouse the booklet stated that any repairs had to be pre-aproved or they would not pay. I was told this was correct and if they found that the charges being requested was to much i would have to go else wear or pay the difference. I was also told i was not covered bumper to bumper i had only items 1-10 get this joke my power windows are covered but not the moter.
My electrical is covered but not my cluster panel or temperature gage and it goes on and on. I called back US Fedelis oh they would call me back once they heard the taped conversation. Dig this bss when i got the call back i am so sorry but you were told you were purchasing comprehensive becouse she heard it. I asked her to hear the tape with me on the phone becouse you can clearly hear when i asked if it was bumper to bumper everything but normal maintenance. She refused i explained i was conned the sales rep new i wanted full coverage as i stated and explained in detail yet the rep said yes except for normal maintenance. She still refused to correct what they had done i again said you heard the tape you know he delibertly mislead me responce what are you going to do. Well folks i will tell you what i am going to do 1 report them hear 2 report them to the bbb 3 report them to ftc 4 write to the main corp 5 call the news media 7 hope there is a law suit so i can get help. Know my car has more miles and i am unable to obtain a good warrenty thanks to them. To make matters worse with todays problems who can afford to fork up more than what i have paid them to purchase a new car.
