U.S. Office and Industrial Supply Fraud Van Nuys California

Where do I start?  My 3 month relationship with this company has been a roller coaster!  I feel I’m on a first name basis with Lori and Sharon at this point, I’m hoping to be on their Christmas card list.  But at the same time I feel I’m being scammed.

We are a service plumbing company that recently hired a new employee in the office, not being overly bright, the new employee stayed on the phone with these people and we are suddenly the proud owners of an invoice for $172 for some Sharpies!  Now I say invoice instead of actual Sharpies because this is a very small office and I have not been able to locate the 12 boxes of Sharpies that were supposedly delivered.   Believe me I have looked!

So now Sharon has called to harass me weekly for payment of the above mentioned invoice.  Because this whole thing seemed sketchy to me in the first place all I did was Google the companies name and low and behold a jackpot of complaints!!  Makes it hysterical when Sharon calls to harass you for payment and wants your credit card number! Ha, I bet they want that number! I’m scared to even send them a check with our bank account number on it.  Seriously.

So far, Sharon has agreed to settle the whole big misunderstanding for $60.  Mighty big of them I know.  When you mention your Google searches to Sharon, she stutters out that they are a 35 year old company and they do fine.  I’m sure they do well, when you charge people for things never delivered, keeps the cost of goods expense low, so to speak.

Seriously though, where do you find these types of people that are willing to work for you and play this game?  They’d have to be relatives right?  There are pimps, made men and drug dealers with less game than the fine employees at U.S. Office and Industrial Supply. 

Sharon was even so kind to call back and complain to my boss about me being unprofessional on the phone.  This hurt, mainly because I thought Sharon and I were friends at this point.  It’s also funny because my boss didn’t care as I have worked here for 9 years and knows I can smell a skunk even clear out in California!

So in closing, if anyone ever calls your company and asks who is in charge of ordering your office supplies just hang up the phone.  After all Sharon is my friend now, stay away!
