Twice that we have purchased items on line we have had a recurring $9 a month charge added to our credit card account. In this case one was the purchase of movie tickets at the website MOVIETICKETS.COM and the other an item at CAROLWRIGHT.COM.
The month folowing the purchases a charge of $ 9 starting appearing on my credit cards. I contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint with them. They contacted WLI in both cases and had them refund ALL the charges.
I also am reporting this to the Virginia Better Business Bureau, Virginia Attorney General Fruad Division as well as the two merchants. This is a scam if I ever saw one. I am not sure if the merchants are aware of this or if they may also be a part of it.
