Warning to consumers!!!

Hello there,

My name is Jacob, and I used to work for All My Sons Moving and Storage, First at the corporate location in Farmers Branch, Texas, and then again at the satelite store in Kent, Washington.

This is a warning to anyone who wishes to use All My Sons Moving and Storage. Please DO NOT  use them. While they may sound great over the phone here is some interesting facts you may not know about them.

1) They do routinely hire ex cons to work as movers. Some of them are even illegal immigrants.

2) The statement where they say, they are family owned and operated for 30 years- is a complete sham to get you to move with them.

3) the claims service that they say is top notch, will only offer you .60 per pound, and most of the time they will refuse to reimburse you even half of that.

4) having worked in both locations I can tell you as a former employee, that, lies are pretty much run of the mill. We don't mention fuel surcharges, nor estimated times of moves, because quite frankly, they want your money!!!

5) The CFO, Ormando Gomez, is nothing more than a thug in a suit and god forbid you tell the truth, he will threaten to " break legs. "

6) Speaking of the fuel surcharge, it is 8 to 15% of your total bill.

7) Did you know that if you schedule 2 movers to come pick your stuff up, they will routinely send a third and charge you extra for the move . or arrange it so that " they have no choice" but to send a third mover and will often quote a higher rate than what is normally listed.  Example 3 men at 209 dollars per hour , rather than 3 men at 125 dollars per hour.

8) Do your research through the BBB. Most likely you can find out if they are leagally able to move or not. Case in point, when I was working at the kent office, they had the BBB cert removed and were still moving people... which is illegal.

9) They will also hold your stuff hostage. If you can't make a payment when the move is finished or running short, they will take the stuff back to thier main location and store it and charge triple the amount per day, basically extorting you for more money.

Do not buy into the hype these guys sell. They are nothing more than Con Artists who steal and often break peoples things under a moving company. When one gets to bad of a reputation, they close up shop and reopen under a different name. Different name, same company.
