American Laser Center Has False Advertising & Don't Compensate For the Lack Of Results Mesa Arizona

I was charged a $3,400 for a package of Vela Shape which was supposed to be a 2 hour session each treatment. When I first started they couldn't fit me in all the time at 5 PM so I was scheduled sometimes at 6 PM but in both cases they would quit my treatment by 7 PM, so I wasn't always getting the full treatment I had paid for. In the beginning they were not doing Vela Shape properly and I had been burnt 3 times with scares that are left on me. I had to buy band aides and was given ointment by the office and the office manager saw how bad the burn was and offered to mail me some band aides but never followed through. She said she would email corporate office about the burns but never let me know what was said and never was compensated a bit for my burns and scares I had received. I was offered to have micro dermo brasion to help with the scaring but they never bothered to schedule the appointment. I had to finally ask to get some treatments. After the second burn the manager looked at pictures and seen I was making no progress with the Vela Shape and offered me 4 more 2 hour treatments free.

After over half of my treatments were gone they finally sent a nurse there to demonstrate to the staff how to do the treatments properly. The entire time I had treatments in the beginning no one was doing it right and they were heating me up too fast and burning my skin and making me buy this lotion for $50.00 to put on after treatments to help with heeling. Once they were taught the proper way to do treatments they learned they needed to heat a person up from the inside out and I never received a burn after that or had to use this lotion they made me buy for after treatments because they were burning people.

The other complaints I had were 3 times I was told my burns would be reported to the corporate office to see what should be done and nothing happened with this or telling me anything if they received a response. Never was I offered compensation for my burns until I made a complaint to the manager and then was given some creams.

I had also voice a complaint to the manager about how I feel I was charged for services that were false advertising. So far I said there is no results and my legs look exactly the same with all the cellulite still showing. I let the manager know about how I was burned 3 times with no compensation. I had several treatments that were only 1 hour sessions instead of 2 hours. I was also taken in 15 -25 minutes later every appointment. I also let her know that once I got in the room the girls always had forgotten something and had to leave the room for the camera or some equipment and never once to did anyone stay in the room without having to run an get something. They were very unorganized. I let the manager know that every treatment when they walked out I was left laying on the bed with nothing covering me and them walking out the door with me exposed to the hallway. I told the manger that there is such a thing as patient confidentiality and there should be curtains in the room for privacy. I had several other staff always knocking on the door wanting the camera or something in the room. I told the manager this was all totally unprofessional. The manager agreed and to satisfy me she stated she would give me some creams and some more treatments for me to get some results and did not want me to be unhappy. She also stated she would do a skin tightening treatment on my upper legs to help with the Vela Shape treatment. I had one treatment. When I schedule the next treatment the following week I had my confirmation call the day before for the treatment. When the day came for the treatment I got a call one hour before my session and a voice message was left stating they were canceling the session. I called back to speak with the person who said to call her but she would not come to the phone and the girl that answered stated the corporate office said they could do no more skin tightening treatments. This is why I decided to right the letter. I asked for the corporate, email address but was told she did not know it. I was told she would have the manager contact me.

I then went online and goggled American Laser and found several links about various complaints and rip offs. I found myself reading several things I felt or had happen to me. Had I known this I would never have signed up for any treatments. I even read how cooperate doesn't respond to phone calls either. So here I am hoping that there is a class action law suit taken on this company.

Some complaints I never reported to the manager was about one tech doing my treatments always having her phone ring or being text message. This girl use to reply to text message during my session and then seemed to be so consumed with getting my session over with so she could get on with her after work life. I never felt as if I was being fully attended to and always felt like she was in a rush.

The floors were filthy in this place and dirt ground into the floors instead of getting cleaned and waxed. I hated having to take my shoes off and be bare foot and putting my feet on there filthy floors. The restroom was always out of paper towels. Over all, the place was very unprofessional since I have worked in healthcare since 1980 and know what is proper and what is not.
