Auto Advantage Towing Recovery Repairs Worst automotive repair service in the Nashville area! Brentwood Tennessee

This is the worst auto repair shop I have ever encountered. They are unskilled and dishonest. I currently have a complaint filed against them with the BBB, where they already have an unsatisfactory rating, and will be pursuing legal action if I do not receive restitution. I have also reported them to Tennessee Consumer Affairs. I hope they put them out of business. My mothers car broke down on the side of the road on the 4th of July. She was unaware of their reputation, so she had the car towed to their shop. They told her the problem was the fuel pump. They installed a new one, but the car still would not start. Then they told her someone had poured gas in her tank and the entire fuel system had to be cleaned out. So they removed the gas tank and cleaned it, replaced the fuel filter and checked the fuel lines. Next they told her they did not know if someone had poured gas in her tank or if she just gotten bad gas. They recommended cleaning the undercarriage of the car because it had oil accumulated underneath it and it could catch fire. Then they changed out the spark plugs without my moms permission and were preparing to replace all 6 fuel injectors! This is where my husband and I became involved. We have worked at Nissan for 25 years and know a little bit about cars. We knew that what they told her about the undercarriage being in danger of catching fire was a lie. We knew that spark plugs could not be filed down by bad gas and that there is no way on earth for 6 fuel injectors to clog at the same time. We removed the car from their care and towed it to Jim Reeves Chevrolet. They found that Auto Advantage had shorted out the cam sensor, not connected the fuel line to the fuel filter, damaged the clip to the fuel filter, crushed a hose clamp on the top of the tank wiring harness causing the clamp to cut the wire, the fuel sensor seal was not installed properly and the terminals were damaged. We paid Auto Advantage $621 to pick up a car that would not run. Then we paid $85 to tow it to Jim Reeves, and $783 to Jim Reeves to fix their mistakes. NEVER take your vehicle to this place!!!!!! This shop doesn't even deserve one star, but this system does not allow you to leave it blank.
