Sellers and buyers beware. This consignment shop has a long history of shady dealings. Wish I had heard the cops description of them before I took them my boat to be sold.
Short version; they took my boat to sell on consignment. Thrub sold the boat and helped arrange to ship it to Panama. All without my knowledge. Then they simply kept the money!
My repeated contacts with them led to vague promises of payment, delays and stories. They would not tell me where the boat is, or when it was sold. Now they just refuse payment. I still have the title ,(they apparently are unconcerned with selling a boat without transferring the title)
Capt. Dave (a real admiral in his own mind), has shifted ownership of contracts, debts and businesses ... But still works there!
if you are selling a boat, the best you can hope for is to be on the good end of their Ponzi scheme. Beware!
