brinkman alliance group- Marshall Fields sta checking processing/ depew ny A Mr. Marshall Fields called me in May, 2014, and threatened to have me served with papers of fraud and I will serve time in jail by the next day if I did not pay off my payday loan in full. I have not had a payday loan in 13 years and I thought I paid them off, but had no receipts and could not remember for sure. I paid $500 of the $1371.80. He sent me a contract via email with their company's letterhead and I still have it,, but when I asked for a copy of the bill, he wouldn't give it to me, still have not seen one. When I tried calling the number on the letter head, could not get a hold of anyone. The last time I called it sounded like it went to a personal voicemail not a companys. It would be nice to be refunded the $500 I lost. I have all documents of the transaction. I believe this company scammed me. Please help. bowmansville New York

I was called in May, 2014 from a Mr. Marshall Fields of Brinkman Alliance Group. He said that I was going to be served the next day to appear in court for charges of fraud if I did not pay my past due payday loan of $1371.80. I told him I had not taken out a payday loan in over 10 years and I could've sworn I paid them all off. He said there were a couple that were not paid off and when you write a check and it bounces it's considered fraud and they were going to pursue fradulent charges on me. He verified my old address and employment so I believed him. He emailed me a contract on a letter head with the company's name, number, and fax with a payment agreement. I paid $500 off my debit/credit card. I then called the company and for a while I could not get through to anyone just kept leaving voicemails in an automated inbox. At my last attempt of calling he answered and I asked him before I send anymore money, I need a receipt and a copy of the payday loan bill. He would not send it to me. Still to this day I have not seen a bill, nor a receipt with a remainder balance. The very last time I tried to call the company for his extension, it went to a personal inbox instead of a company's. I do believe I was scammed and it would be nice if I could get my money back. I have all emails and proof of transaction from sta check processing/ depew, ny for the $500. Also, he told me over the phone, they were a collection agency out of Wichita Ks, but the contract shows they are in bowmansville new york, and the transaction name and address on my statement says sta check processing, depew, new york.
