Castle Credit BBB Complaint

          After a year and a half of doing business with a once respectful bank, I myself, as an employee of Home Smart Water LLC, have had the fine opportunity of see the true colors of a 45 year old finance company.  As a consumer, as well as a dealer that works closely with Castle Credit Corp., I would like to take the opportunity to bring a few facts to the public’s attention, as well as to the Better Business Bureau.

          1. As seen in many other reviews with the BBB (1/20/2015, 3/13/14, and 1/10/2014), Castle Credit has some standing issues with financing terms as well as payment issues.

          2. Customer service is far from foolproof, as evidenced by looking through many web submissions, reviews, BBB complaints that are already on their website, as well as many other websites like Ripoff Report, Yellow Pages, Yahoo, and other sources of media such as Facebook. Many customers complain of making on time payments until one day when they are suddenly hit with late fees that cause their credit ratings to tank because of so called “late payment reportings.” Many other customers gripe about paying off their accounts only to find Castle Credit has quote on quote “not received” their final payment. Furthermore, in many complaints heard from my customers as well as ones that can be read online, their Customer Service Specialist declines any opportunity to talk to customers when requested, he informs his employees to tell customers to fax in or email their complaints. In my personal opinion this is negating himself of his responsibilities and moreover expressing that he isn’t taking or being made to take account for his poor decisions and actions.

          3. Found in the following report on Ripoff Report, # 595977, we as consumers and dealers, read about a Castle Credit male repeatedly calling a woman’s sister asking for her husband. This rep tells the man wife that he is a “Circuit Court Arbitrator” stating that the account that the husband holds with Castle Credit is past due, and there is a payoff of so much money, and if it isn’t handled immediately it will go to court to the tune of $1,200 dollars. The woman goes to on state that she was rudely spoken to, cursed at, and treated in a grossly unprofessional manner. It is seen on many other websites as I stated above, Castle Credit’s customer service is horrible, and I quote “they will tell you one thing and do another.”

          4. As an employee of a dealer I would also like to extend some most-useful information to any other dealers considering the use of Castle Credit for financing. Castle Credit and Home Smart Water, LLC have had and continue to have issues ranging from funding being held on new contracts because of previous contracts with customers, to Castle even going to great lengths to call my company a scam. Please be informed, if you are going to have any dealings with a company of such standards as to negate themselves of customer service, and gainsay any rules, regulations or promises made, please tread carefully, and always make sure that you are protected by a Legally Binding Contract.

          As a company Castle Credit Corporation has made it very clear to the public that they do not care about their practices, they do not hold their customer service representatives to high standards such as other companies. They have not properly implemented the right people into certain positions such as Resolution Specialists, and quite possibly even upper management. They have not taken the time to get both sides of the story, or taken the time to positively affect the situation at hand. Castle Credit is nothing more than a 45 year old bank that is losing its morals and standards, teaching its managers to hide behind a computer screen or in an office instead of fixing the issues in a professional and respectful manner and do their job as a finance company. Furthermore, from not only an employee stand point but an average individual it strikes me funny that a company could have so many complaints, so many unhappy customers, so many issues, and still have such a high rating with the BBB. Maybe it’s high time for new management and a good old fashion apology to anybody and everybody that they have ever done wrong. I, as a manager for any company, would more than take the time out of my day to make sure that all my customers were happy and satisfied. It seems that Castle Credit doesn’t pride themselves on these same standards, as it seems they don’t pride themselves on any standards.
