Choice Fitness Repair - Kevin Oye Complaint/Review: Etobicoke Ontario

I got ripped off from Kevin Oye of Choice Fitness Repairs.  Numerous emails and phone calls.  He tells me that he'll send back my money but it never came.  So, I went to his advertised address on Albion Road (beside the Samosa Factory) and there's NO office.  The address listed on:

There's an office but its not Choice Fitness Repairs but an accounting office.

Beware of this crook.  He previously posted that his office was located on Steinway and then on Albion Rd.  No one in the Albion plaza has heard of him.  He's incompetent, take your money, give excuses why there's delay with a repair and disappear.

I'm not sure if these individuals who have written these glowing remarks about Kevin Oye are friends of his or Kevin Oye himself. 

Kevin Oye from Choice Fitness Repair never completed the job that we paid him to do.  After he took our money, he would either ignore our emails, phone calls or provide inumerable excuses.  He would fail to show up at the scheduled appointments (for which I would block off my schedule) or state that he was unable to come due to endless injuries.

Unfortunately, I also got ripped off by Kevin Oye.  There are other complaints on the internet that he may not even be qualified to service certain fitness equipment.  I wish he would be forthright in his correspondence that he's not trained to repair certain fitness equipment rather than coming to our homes, 'diagnosing' the problem and disappearing with our money.

I am pretty sure he is not a fake company and ripping people off.

He finished our job and did extra for us and refused to take money from us when we offered it.

I know he is running this on his own...with hardly any help, since there is nobody trustworthy and reliable to do the work he gives out.  (see my report on another company that Kevin trusted to finish several jobs off while he was ill)

Did your email go to spam??  this sounds more like the reason he didnt get back to you.

Instead of blaming a good person that runs an honest business....maybe you should try to understand how this could've happened.

I have aggreed to write this rebuttal for Kevin in defense of this complaint.

Kevin and Choice Fitness Repair have diagnosed, repaired, installed, delivered and maintained our home GYM for the past 5 years.

I found him to be honest and reliable.

I know he has moved locations is now at 1850 Albion Road as I had to go grab a small part that came in off him.

Dont let the above report ruin his reputation.

He works hard, and does this all on his own.

the unit is in the back and up the stairs.  if you would look you would find it. Also...I dont know who you are since I do not get these complaints.....not because I do.  I have been in the industry for over 10 years, and have had 2 issues this whole time.  I think that is not bad considering. Have some balls...and email me and let me know who you are. Maybe this can be discussed.  If the board was available. I probably told you to order it.

Wow.  You've ripped off so many individuals that you're not certain who I am.  The manufacturer had the board.  You provided numerous excuses, wasted my time, and then disappeared.  I required the services of another repair company to complete the job and who didn't rip me off.

By the way, these are photos of your "office".  These are pictures taken today.  There is no office at the address listed on your website or other sites in which you've advertised.  No one at 1 Steinway has even heard of you.  You are a fake business ripping off people. 

Avoid Choice Fitness Repair and Kevin Oye!  Don't get ripped off by him! 

If you would search the unit, there is an office upstairs.

I cant help you unless I know who you are.  I am thinking that the part is not available anymore, and I told you this so now you are bitter, when there is nothing I can do about it.
