You are a victim of what I call the city's Cam Scam. Here's how it works:

SOME cities across the country have allowed companies from Maryland and Arizona and other parts unknown to install cameras at busy intersections. At first it sounds like a great idea! If there's an accident it will be filmed to determine who caused it. It could even be used to catch crimes filmed in the background, or for drivers ed, or police training.

But instead, these cities have taken a great idea and PERVERTED it to the point that angry judges in some states (Ohio) have demanded that they be removed and have outlawed them. Why? Because instead of being used for good, the PRIVATE COMPANY that reviews the driving mails out a ticket if you do not drive like a robot and come to a complete stop or go through a light that's yellow/red, that most cops would not consider citation worthy.

Sure, there are maybe one in ten that actually do deserve the ticket, but 90% of the tickets go to people who are just driving normally like yourself. You see, the more tickets that this PRIVATE COMPANY send out, the more money they make. Just in case you haven't figured it out already, the cities that sell out their citizens and allow this un-American behavior get a share of the ill gotten gaines (usually 60/40 in favor of the city).

These THIEVING PRIVATE COMPANIES that are enforcing the law like to brag that the collisions in intersections where there are cameras have gone down by 20%, but they conveniently don't mention the fact that rear end collissions have TRIPLED from people slamming on the brakes at yellow lights!

Some, less scrupulous towns, have even been caught SHORTENING THE YELLOW LIGHT so more tickets can be sent out, and cash raked in. This whole Cam Scam is SO Dangerous, Dishonest, Distracting and Disgusting that they are OUTLAWED in as many states as they are legal in!
