VIN: WBAGH83401DP27277.

This is to warn any potential buyers of this 2001 BMW 740iL, being sold by a man named Darrell Edward Holmes.  He lives in Chino Hills ,Ca.

On Friday May 24th, 2013 I met with Darrell to view his BMW VIN: WBAGH83401DP27277.  The car was clean but leaked oil after the test drive.  I was still interested.  I inquired about any previous body and/or paint work and Darrell stated that the car had only one incident and it was isolated to the rear bumper only.  Mr Darrell Holmes stated that he was the original owner and purchased the car new, so he should know all the history of the car.

over the weekend I did some research within the help of some friends in the business and ascertained that the car that mr. Darrell Holmes is representing as a one small incident car has actually been to Marcos Auto Body in San Gabriel, Ca a total of three times.  In 2012 for a $2,000 rear bumper repair.  In 2011 for a $3,000 repair and in 2008 for a whopping $10,000 collision repair.

When confronted with this new found information, Mr Darrell Holmes denied my claim, refused to put in writing that the had not been to the shop 3 times and then hung up on me.  He refuses to return my security deposit, refuses to sell me the car as he can be held liable for fraud and broke our building sales contract.

Well, since there was a fraudulent activity on Darrell's behalf, that would render the contract null and void, however I am still entitled to a refund of my initial deposit.

I am posting this up to warn anyone looking at this vehicle to do your part and verify.  Mr Darrell Holmes lied about the car to garner the sale.  He is using my inquiries to twist the story making it look like I a backing out of the sale.  The facts are clear and posted up here for you to make your own educated decision.

His ad is listed on eBay and cars.com.  Let him know that he is on here.

Apologies for thinking you were DH

AUTHOR: Truth Teller - ()

POSTED: Friday, July 05, 2013

Offering my apoligies for thinking you were Darrell Holmes.  I wish he was the one that read this as he'll be seeing me in court soon.

On another note, that first letter was written from my iPhone so just have some mercy for someone having to type an entire letter, while being in an emotional state, on that tiny little kepboard.

So since you're all over this site, can you please move on to another report as your comments are not productive to this post.  If you can't move on without another rebuttal, you will prove to be the internet bully that I'm beignning to think you are.

Have a nice day.

Enjoy your leaky new purchase

AUTHOR: coast - ()

POSTED: Thursday, July 04, 2013

For some reason you think I am Darrell Holmes. If you were to read other posts on this site you would discover that I work for several finance companies, auto dealers, retail stores, one firearms dealer and last December I was the police chief of Montgomery, Alabama.

Your second post contained no new information other than your false allegation that I am uneducated and that I am someone else. Now that we have determined that I am not Darrell Holmes, let's determine who is uneducated:

"Who is writing this rebuttal?  My child could do a better job."

"He lives in Chino Hills ,Ca."

Does your child know that the space belongs after the comma, NOT before it?

"over the weekend I did some research within the help of some friends..."

Does your child know to begin a sentence with a capital letter? Does your child know to write 'with' NOT 'within'?

"mr. Darrell Holmes"

Does your child know that the proper punctuation is 'Mr.' NOT 'mr'?

"making it look like I a backing out of the sale."

Does your child know that the correct verbiage is 'I am' NOT 'I a'?

Your twelve-year-old BMW leaks oil. You can purchase an oil drip pan on eBay for your new purchase. Happy motoring!

What uneducated person is rebutting this?

AUTHOR: Truth Teller - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, July 03, 2013

Who is writing this rebuttal?  My child could do a better job.  Anyways, glad you saw this Mr Darrell Holmes.  Now if I can only get any perspective buyers to see this, then my job to protect any future buyers will be done.

What you fail to realize is that you committed fraud, which renders a contract null and void.  Being that we no longer have a valid contract, I am entitled to my $100 deposit back.

However, trying to get it into your little pea brain is next to impossible.  That's why I resorted to this.  I am exposing you for the untrustworthy man you are.  I see that your ebay user name is such and I am going to make sure that all future buyers are aware of your practices.

You can spin it anyway you like but the truth is written out in plain English for anyone to make an educated decision on what happened to this deal.

You lied about the car's history on day 1 and when I found out the truth, you stated that you were telling me everything you knew, which was, "there was no accident".  You're the original owner and any reasonable man would have to say that you should know about the car's 3 accidents totalling over $15,000.  YOU ARE A LIAR AND EVERYONE IN THE WORLD IS GOING TO KNOW IT AS I'M SPEARHEADING THE CAMPAIGN.

Give back the deposit.

DEH1959_123 is already on the ebay bad seller's list.  Good luck with any future sales.  It's a small price to pay to not have to deal with chasing all these negative reports that will continue to pop up for years to come.  You're a bad man.

Research before purchase

"The car was clean but leaked oil... I inquired about any previous body and/or paint work"

You were more interested in the bodywork than the engine even though you knew the vehicle leaked oil. That's equivalent to inquiring about the condition of the garbage disposal when the house is on fire.

"over the weekend I did some research within the help of some friends in the business"

You paid a deposit and agreed to purchase the vehicle before you researched the merchandise. You should have solicited your friends' help prior to paying a deposit.
