My sons have been asking us for a new puppy for a while now so we started looking at ads online for something affordable. We saw an ad at the STLToday.com webpage for Cavalier King Charles puppies. We decided to begin contact and sent an email (orynpaltrow@gmail.com) with the normal questions.

This is what they said:

I thought it sounded wonderful, so I asked them how much the papers would cost because we were very interested in getting one of the puppies.

After Reading this email it all began to sound to good to be true. I started looking things up. First his name and found NOTHING! Then I started looking into this London Mission and although there is one the name was different then he had stated to me. Then I googled his email address and 6 plus ads popped up. The thing was they weren't all for the Cavalier Kings, there were ads for rottweilers, bulldogs, and labs in many different states. I thought that was incredibly strange so I looked up the Orphanage and then I found the Rip Off Report for Delta Air Lines! As I began reading parts of their emails are word for word with the English Bulldog emails that Kristy recieved. There is no way that they would just so happen to word things the exact same throughout the emails...just not possible!

With all that being said...they have changed the names and the places they were using, but it is the same scam! So please beware!

I would just like to thank Kristy for posting this Rip Off! My husband and I don't have a lot of money, but we wanted to make our kids happy with a new puppy! Had she not have posted this add I might have sent those people my money. Again...thank you so much!

I hate to mention this to you, but you should know that "Delta Express Company" whoever they are, are in no way affiliated with Delta Air Lines, Inc. Everything that you mentioned would be handled BY THE SHIPPER, before the animal was accepted by the airline, at least in Delta Air Lines' case.

I'm afraid that you've been caught in some kind of scam and this company is playing on Delta Air Lines' name to lend some legitimacy to the scam.

I know that I was too trusting and should have done MORE research before sending any money, but either way, I know that someone who could sink so low will never have the kind of joy in their life that I do. This is a textbook scam. They will keep stringing you along until they're sure they can't squeeze one more dollar out of you. You yourself have already uncovered proof of the scam by not only identifying the phony shipper website, but even finding out how they built it. What more do you need?

I don't understand why you're still bothering with them.

Once again instead of giving me the information I asked for this is the response I got back:

"Good Morning, I have just contacted the airlines and was told that Billy is doing pretty good but as soon as we can update his shots you should be very sure to have him in your arms today. Please try and wire the money and so we can get Billy out of Paris. Don't delay this last step to get him over. We hope to read from you ASAP. God Bless you"

This was my response.....

'We have tried every option available. We cannot borrow any more money and do not get paid from our jobs until the 15th of January. If there is any way possible for you to come up with the rest of the money to get Billy out of Paris we will send you the entire $2000 back upon his arrival to us. Otherwise the airlines will have to use that money to find another family to adopt Billy to."

Thanks for the mail.I just contacted the airlines and they say that the flight for the puppy will not be accessed unless a refundable insurance fee deposit of $2000 is paid.They say that this money will be refunded to you during delivery.They say that the insurance company will take charge if in case any thing happen to the puppy during the flight.The EU vet authorities will not allow the puppy to be ship if this fee is not paid.They said that you had been informed about that.They wont want to have any cases of pets

I am sorry to say, but we have asked every friend and family member possible. We even asked for a loan from our bank, Due to the Holidays no one is able to loan us the money. We are a little worried about the company you used for shipping. I've tried to contact Delta Express every way that they have listed on there website and it is not valid information.
