LISTEN UP GUYS!!

CHECK YOUR SEATS ...BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN AT ANY RESTURANT...ALWAYS...NOT MATTER WHAT...!!! OR WHERE!!!

Don't always be so asleep on complacent when you go into a resturant, no matter how clean it may look.
Employees sometimes goof off and get by with not cleaning seats thoroughly between customers.
Brushing off the table or a quick wet towel across the table is NEVER ENOUGH. They need to CLEAN OUT THE SEATS & DOWN INTO THE CRACKS AS WELL, AND ON THE FLOORS...

YOU GUYS CHECK THEM, CHECK THEM, CHECK THEM!!!

LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I HAD TO GO THROUGH...

LAST NIGHT AROUND 8:00 when it was quieter, I went into Denny's in Dallas on 35 & Medical District Blvd, (the old Motor Street by the old Apparel Mart). It was raining and really cold. I took my long coat off and laid it across the seat while I looked at and talked with the two ladies I was with. I then scooted my purse and coat over and sat down on the edge of the seat.
As I put my hands down to scoot further into the seat, my thumb got into something wet like sauce right at the edge of the seat and back of the seat BESIDE the crack.
I looked down and my thumb was covered with something that looked like their mustard sauce.I realized the seat was dirty and I had sat down into whatever sauce was there, and they had not washed the seat out between customers.

I started to clean my thumb off with my napkin and call the waitress to get me another seat, but something looked wrong with the sauce, it looked more to the consistancy of PEANUT BUTTER.
Realizing they did not serve peanut butter, I took a quick sniff and lo and behold, it was .........POOH!!!! YOU KNOW THE REALLY SMELLY STUFF, THAT COMES OUT OF A DIAPER, AND I HAD ...SAT DOWN IN THAT STUFF!!!

OF COURSE I SCREECHED A BIT, AND CLIMBED OUT, PULLING MY WOOL TWEED WOVEN JACKET AROUND TO SEE, AND ABOUT 5 INCHES WIDE BY 2 INCHES DEEP ACROSS MY JACKET BOTTOM EDGE WAS COVERED WITH THAT STUFF...I told the two ladies I was with what was on my clothes and I ran into the bathroom to clean up. There I saw that it was also on my black pants in 2 places, ONE IN A 3" ACROSS CIRCLE AND ANOTHER ABOUT 4" WIDE....
THEIR CLEANING PEOPLE HAD REALLY LEFT IT...AND A LOT WAS ON THAT SEAT!!! (TO BE ABLE TO LEAVE THAT MUCH ON MY JACKET AND 2 LARGE PLACES LOWER ON MY PANTS)

I took my jacket off and started washing it out in cold water and soap before it got onto anything else.
I was unzipping my pants trying to turn it around to wash that out, and by then a waitress in the stall had come out to wash her hands. I told her what was on my clothes, and told her to hold the door so no one would come in, so I could take my pants off and wash the spot out also.

By then my original waitress came into the bathroom where I was washing the edge of my jacket, and said, "Oh, We have figured it out, it is PROBABLY MUD somebody left on the seat."
I told her," No, it's NOT MUD it is Pooh, & she acted like it couldn't be, so I again said, it is not mud, it is S**T! FROM SOME KIDS DIAPER THAT LEAKED OR SOME HOMELESS PERSON THAT HAD SOMETHING ON THEM, AND SAT THERE, AND THE SEAT WAS NOT CLEANED OUT BEFORE I SAT DOWN.

You guys did not clean down in the crease of the seat, but IF YOU DID WIPE THE SEAT IT WAS ONLY A QUICK FLUFF OVER, AND YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE CLEANED DOWN INTO THE CREASES OF THE SEAT TO GET ALL THE STUFF OUT BEFORE THE NEXT CUSTOMERS SIT DOWN.
She said, "Oh!" and left out.

After I cleaned my clothes, I was making sure the sink was clean, and I saw on the 6" wide front MIDDLE of the SINK cabinet a streak going from bottom right to left upwards, of half dried pooh with part still wet. ( I CHECKED TO MAKE SURE IT WAS POOH AS WELL)I CLEANED IT OFF AS WELL SO THE NEXT PERSON WOULD NOT LEAN UP AND GET IT ON THEM WHEN THEY WASHED THEIR HANDS.

The waitress that had been in the stall before came back in again to check on me,and bring cleaning rags, and I told her also about the pooh on the sink. She said, "Oh it is from where you wiped it from your jacket across there, I told her, no it was in the middle of the sink front, and I washed on the right side of the sink. (BESIDES IF I WIPED FROM MY JACKET, THE STREAK WOULD HAVE GONE FROM THE BOTTOM LEFT TO THE TOP RIGHT ANGLE ..TOWARDS..THE SINK, NOT THE bottom right to the top left, not the OTHER WAY.)

I washed my jacket and my pants and got it out.

When I came out, the two ladies I had been with were sitting at another table across the room. I was wanting to go home, but they hadn't eaten and it was late so I went over to sit down. I looked down on the new table seat, and there were large bread crumbs and some grease, I wiped off the seat and looked all over it before I sat down. THERE ALSO THEY HAD ...NOT...CLEANED THE SEATS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS...SO IT LOOKED LIKE A CONSISTANT PATTERN IN THAT RESTURANT LOCATION.

I WILL ALWAYS LOOK REALLY CLOSE FROM NOW ON IN ANY RESTURANT...BEFORE...I SIT DOWN EVER AGAIN!!!
I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON.

My waitress then came to take the order, and one of the ladies with me said, that at least they should pay for my dry cleaning, so the waitress went to get the manager.
The original waitress that was in the bathroom stall beside me then came to the table, then acting as if she was the manager, so I guess that is who was in the stall beside me.
She kept appologizing, but said, they could NOT DO ANYTHING.

I reminded her about the sink, and told her that SOMEBODY NEEDED TO go in there and really check and clean that bathroom up, before somebody got stuff all over them, that diaper really was leaking.
She said that two different babies had been there before, and at our original table, there was a baby 1 1/2 hours before.
THEY HAD 1 1/2 HOURS TIME TO CLEAN THAT TABLE, AND IT WAS SLOW, THERE WERE ONLY A VERY FEW PEOPLE 2 -3 PEOPLE WHEN WE CAME IN, BUT AS WE SAT THERE MORE AND MORE HOMELESS AND OTHERS HAD COME IN FROM THE FREEZING RAIN.

MY FRIENDS I WAS WITH, WERE WAITRESS AT MAMA'S DAUGHTERS AND MARKET DINNER, (THE FAMOUS SISTERS THAT PEOPLE ARE PHOTOGRAPHING THESE DAYS,) SO THEY KEPT SAYING, THAT IT WAS NOT OK, TO AT LEAST PAY FOR THE DRY CLEANING OF WHERE IT GOT THAT STUFF ON MY CLOTHES.
I told her that the employee had not cleaned the seat well, and that they needed to check between customers, to check down between the cracks, AND CLEAN IT OUT EACH TIME, that they MAY never know what was there.

Again I reminded her of the sink and told her that someone with a diaper had really messed up there, and she said, "Well, we have a baby changing place, in the OTHER STALL, ( it had no sink to wash in) as if I was making it up. (and if someone had a really bad leaky diaper, they would wash in the sink, not on the baby changing area anyway)

I told her that whoever had changed the diapers had really exploded everywhere! OR THAT SOME HOMELESS PERSON HAD COME IN THERE AND SAT DOWN WITH STUFF ON THEIR CLOTHES, THAT I HAD SEEN HOMELESS PEOPLE THAT HAD SAT DOWN IN STUFF BEFORE AND WALKED AROUND WITH IT NO THEIR CLOTHES, AND THEY COULD POSSIBLY HAVE COME IN HERE, AND YOU NEVER KNEW WHERE HOMELESS PEOPLE WOULD LAY DOWN AND WHAT THEY COULD GET ON THEIR CLOTHES, so she didn't say anything else.

ACTUALLY I LOOKED AROUND, AND THERE WERE THREE HOMELESS MEN AND TWO HOMELESS LADIES, SITTING AT THE DIFFERENT TABLES, WITH THEIR STUFF IN PLASTIC BAGS AND SOME HAD TRASH BAGS & BACK PACKS COMING IN FROM THE FREEZING RAIN.

They went to check with another manager on the phone, and came back and said that they would pay me if I brought the cleaning bill to them.

Later our waitress came and said that they would comp our meal.

My friend asked for a trash sack to put my coat and my tweed jacket in where I had laid the long coat on the original seat before I had sat down, so I would not get anything on my son's new car seats just to take precautions.

WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT, I WANT TO WARN PEOPLE, DON'T BE SO TRUSTING IN ....ANY RESTURANT.......you don't know how lazy the employees are, just "WIPING AT" the cleaning process.

MY FRIEND WHO WAS WITH ME WHO WORKS AT MARKET DINNER SAID THAT THEIR OWNER ALWAYS HAS TO FUSS AND FUSS EVERY SINGLE DAY, AT THE EMPLOYEES TO GET THOSE SEATS REALLY CLEAN...HE HAS TO GO AND CHECK EACH ONE EVERY DAY,,,AND STILL THEIR EMPLOYEES HAVE TO BE FUSSED AT...TO CLEAN THEM...EVEN WITH HIM CONSTANTLY FUSSING AND CHECKING PERSONALLY HIMSELF...
I told her, that this is a REAL REASON she could tell them...as to WHY to get down between seat creases...
THAT I WOULD ALWAYS CHECK MY SEATS BEFORE I SAT DOWN ANY MORE ANY WHERE....
