I have been scammed by this place back in 2007, and i have researched other complaints that are legitimate and follow the same pattern. The people who run this company are truly blood sucking parasitical b*stards and liars and should be investigated and jailed. Every single complaint about them is genuine and every single "positive review" is appearing always as a retaliation and never as a sincere review. I am amazed there is no class action against these vampires.

I had to wait eight months before they started working on my case.  I joined about four years ago and had very little confidence in them.  I knew that because of my physical disabilities, that it would be very difficult for them to set me up with someone who would actually marry me.  As time went on, I started getting upset.  Not at the company, but at my situation.  I realized that it wouldnt be fair of me to expect them to match me up with the perfect girl over night if they were to set me up at all.  I also did agree at my interview that there wasnt a one hundred percent chance but rather a very low chance.  Again the fault here was in my situation, not in the company or staff.  I stayed patient even though I was crying inside. 

Low and behold, one day my matchmaker contacted me via e-mail with the details of two amazing women.  At the beginning, I thought this is too good to be true.  I was right.  Since then I had to wait another four months until they set me up with Rene.  Four months of contacting matchmakers and dating different girls.  It eventually paid off though.  Rene and I immediately clicked and I was flabbergasted that she was able to see through my cane and severe allergies.  She saw my inner self and found good.  This service does help.  You just need to be patient and give it time like I did.

All of the above mentioned complaints are complete and utter nonsense! Elite Personal Search has an active database of well over 20,000 highly quality, well educated or self made clients all looking for a long term relationship or marriage.  If a client is not happy after a 4 month period, then we will have a conversation with them to find out why they are not happy and what changes can we make for them to ensure that we start matching them with people that are more in line with what they are looking for.  This may not work for everyone and we clearly discuss this with client if they decide to become clients of Elite.  Because the matchmaking requirements are so vastly different for each client, it does take some time for us to start to get the matchmaking process correct for each client.  Have we matched clients successfully within the first 2-3 matches, absolutely. Has it taken 8-9 matches at times, absolutely. Are there clients that are not successfully matched within the terms of their contract, absolutely. There are no promises of being matched successfully, however, I will say that clients that accept every match we present to them, are generally the clients that are successfully matched within the terms of their contract because they are giving the process a chance and we can learn about the reasons why matches are good or not good based on factual feedback, not just what they say they want, but say no to each match presented.  Again, the initial complaint was from a client that had been with Elite for a 4 month period and that is not enough time to post such a strong complaint about Elite in my opinion. Furthermore, We have never has a client that was Jewish and gay or trans gendered, so I am not sure why people are posting complaints stating that we took them on as a client when we did not. We would refer someone who is gay, l*****n, bi-sexual or trans gendered to a company that specializes in matching them, we would not take them on as a client because we do not have an active database of clients to match them with. Again, this is a good example of online consumer complaint sites like Ripoffreport.com or BBB.or (BBB is a franchise, it is not a government run agency!) that allow anyone to submit a complaint with a verification process in place to prove that the complaint is legitimate. Please do not believe everything you read and please come in and meet with us face to face to see for yourself the high quality matchmaking company that we are. Create your own judgment based on facts, not hearsay.

I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience with this company. Some of my close friends have seen this company's success. I myself have one of the greatest stories in dating companies. Every person I speak to has nothing but great, positive things to say about them. Your story is a little hard to believe based on all the stories I've heard or the one that I have.

After my divorce three years ago, I wasn't at all quick to get married again and was very unhappy. I tried to forget about it and move on but I was still lonely. I was very surprised on how she made me feel comfortable enough to make me tell her my whole life. She even offered me coffee, cake, and other really good snacks. About a week or so later, Lesa called me with a whole list of guys she found on her records that fitted my requirements pretty well. She told me about all of them and sounded very excited for me.

Although I admire your desire to seek out a lifetime partner and arrange it through a somewhat "professional" way instead of the usual bar and nightclub scene, you must remember, joining a matchmaking service in the hopes of finding true love is nothing more than a pipe dream. It is no different than a guy who goes to the Philippines or any other part of South east Asia to look for a young, sweet innocent girl who's probably more than half his age and three times less than half his weight.

Matchmaking, or online dating, or whatever you wish to call it does not work. it all appears "lovey-dovey" on the surface, with photos of beautiful people and countless pages of "success" stories, with big smiling faces all pasted across their magazines and web sites, but in reality, whether you're a man or woman, (and after reading the rebuttal from a company executive, I see now you are a female) love on the Internet just cannot be found, either through matchmaking or overseas via matchmaking web sites.

It's not only a fantasy for the guy, it's even a bigger dream for the woman, especially when the man promises to bring the girl out of desperately impoverished living conditions in a Third World country with hopes and dreams of being supported for life in a country like the USA where nobody starves to death, no matter what their substandard living conditions may be.

The same goes for your case, Miffed. You say when you joined Elite Matchmakers, you included in your profile, that you are a "professional." Okay....professional what? You also say you have university degrees...in what? Your statement about yourself is vague and ambiguous. I know you said because of your work, it is difficult to meet the right kind of people for dating, but why search for someone through a dating agency when as a human being, you come into daily contact every day with other human beings. Surely someone, somewhere in your daily contacts in life might find you pleasant and attracting enough to want to date you? Let this be a lesson well learned.

Don't worry about a few people running around the net posting bad reviews about this comp-any. The fact is that the very HUGE majority of the customers are very happy and very patient. Miffed' like you said was a member for four months. It's not really fair to expect someone to find you your soul mate in such a short amount of time. I have a friend who didn't find the right one for two years. Eventually, they helped her. I myself have been a member for a little over a year and still have not found my wife. Patience is a virtue. Just do a little more research and you'll see many more success stories than horror stories.

Why is it disgusting that this woman is defending her company and her livelihood after being defamed publicly on the internet which is read by endless amounts of readers that could significantly take away from her business. She posted a justified rebuttal to defend herself. My question is why didn't "miffed" answer any of the attorney's calls? It seems like "Miffed" is just angry and doesn't follow proper protocol when there is a problem at hand.

I am interested in possibly joining this service and am doing research and came across this little battle here. Miffed's comments scared me a little and after reading the rebuttal I feel that they might not be such a valid complaint. After all, she has only been in the service for 4 months...

I find it absolutely disgusting, and a negative reflection of this company for their "representative" to be giving personal information out about the original poster. I think anyone reading this will come to their own conclusion about this company merely by reading the unprofessional retort from that individual.

This client is a 42 year old woman is has never been married or in a long-term relationship. She is a writer, but clearly not a good communicator. I certainly expected better of her, or I wouldn't have signed her up. She was given our minimum membership which is 5 matches over 18 months.

If I thought she was more marketable she would have received more. Her matchmaker, Laura Wasserman, was pregnant with twins. Needless to say, she wasn't at her best during this time. She was not feeling well much of the time, and probably wasn't as productive as she could have been. I only realized this at the end of her time with us.

I had a couple of my clients call to say that hadn't heard from Laura in a month, and I had them reassigned to another matchmaker. This complaining client never called me. I would have switched her. I agree that Laura should have called her back, but her clients who understood her pregnancy were proactive about it.

If you've never been in a relationship you might think matchmaking is like ordering a puppy. Let's specify the size, color, etc. We have no perfect clients at our company. Not one. But the ones who are not successful will insist that we introduce them to their perfect picture. I have looked through this woman's file with us, and she was matched with attractive, college-educated gentleman of her race and religion(which were the 3 things that were most important to her).

I have found that sometimes people get discouraged when someone who is a suggested match turns them down. All of a person's matches need to be approved by them first. We don't send someone out without them knowing everything about this person, including a picture. Perhaps this was difficult for this woman. I cannot understand her anger and rage. I believe this says more about her than us. She never even gave it a good try.

Think about it...when you hire a matchmaker your standards go up because you are now paying someone. So if we don't introduce you to someone who you think is "perfect" then you think we're all wrong. This is completely the wrong attitude. After each match we get feedback from you so that we can do better each time.

We have to get a sense of your dating patterns to get it right. She didn't go on one date. This was her choice. This woman has not returned calls, emails or letters from my attorney. I have compassion for her, but for her to defame me and my company is not a Christian thing to do, which she says is very important to her.
