This is an update from my first post about ez pawn (a name that doesn't even deserve the respect of being capitalized). Usually, ez pawn doesn't even return phone calls regarding customer complaints. When I phoned their corporate location on Monday and left a message, my call wasn't returned. So I phoned and spoke with Dan Surdell in marketing. He took down my complaint and said someone would get back to me. No one phoned me on Wed so I phoned and attempted to reach their Vice president who happened to be "away" from his desk. Instead, I sent an email to their customer service department and this time got a call back.
They had satanic steve bush call back and make a fake apology. He admitted that they allow things to fall through the cracks but gave no explanation for why they hadn't bothered to contact me over a measly $3.00 especially as long as I had been doing business with them which has been for 5 years! Not only that, but he said there was no way of recovering my bracelet nor would he even offer a solution to correct the problem!!! Basically, their motto is "Screw the customer! We don't give a d**n about them, their values or their situations. We just want ALL the money we can get from anyone that comes through our doors!"
No matter how bad your situation is, if you need money, DO NOT rely on ez pawn. You're better off going to MoneyTree or Payday Loan, anyone but ez pawn. steve bush, ruth ann, brittney and ALL the employees at the Horizon Ridge location practice screwing people over! Decent employees have not worked at ez pawn now in a month!!!
