What you need to know:

This company has literally NO GRACE PERIOD on its payments. 

ONE day late, and you'll be hit with a late fee.

There is, however, a simple cure, once you figure this out (provided you figure it out EARLY). 

Make a double payment.  I have confirmed with customer service that they will not apply this to principal, but will instead put you into 'paid ahead' status.  IE: you're paid a month ahead.

After this you can make your monthly payments with a reasonable buffer. 

BE SURE TO PAY ANY LATE FEES IN THEIR ENTIRETY at the same time that you make this double payment.  Otherwise, they'll just keep assessing a late fee every month, as you won't be 'caught up.'

And God help you if you don't catch this early on in the loan, as that burgeoning payment is designed to get you under (and hold you under) until you stop blowing bubbles and sink.

They're sneaky and devious.  Even if you're paying online, make sure you open that paper statement EVERY month.  And you should probably track your payments separately in an excel spreadsheet or something.  Companies that pull this kind of devious crapola can't be trusted to be honest over the term of the loan.

You've been warned.  Take the necessary measures to make sure your lender doesn't victimize you.
