The workers that are hired through Hardman Construction are THIEVES. I have lived at my home for 50+ years and nothing has ever been stolen from my property. Hardman Construction Co from Budd Lake, NJ started work on my neighbor's house, who I have shared a driveway with for as long as I have lived here, and my son's $500 bike gets stolen. The bike was on our side of the driveway in-between two cars.

When I confronted the head contractor on the job he told me his men wouldn't do that and he never even offered to look into it. I was also told to ask the men myself, but that is a little hard since they do not speak English.

In the middle of me talking to him he tells the worker he was with lets go and just walked away from me. I have helped these men out on the job; I have lent them tarps, tools and everything the needed. The worker where knocking on my door everyday and this is what I get in return. This company ONLY care about the paycheck and not what kind of people he has working for him as long as the job gets done!

Not happy

Completely unfounded, preposterous & malicious accusation

AUTHOR: George F - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, January 20, 2008

That a $500 bicycle was allegedly "stolen" and Hardman Construction was coincidentally working next door means one of them stole it? Nowhere therein the posting is any evidence cited supporting this defamatory & ludicrous accusation against Hardman Construction.

Hardman Construction has worked on at least 5 homes within my immediate neighborhood, including 1 directly across the street. Watching the work in progress and having spoken with several of these homeowners as references, I came to the conclusion that Hardman's integrity & quality is beyond reproach. Further, the proprietor & company are well respected by town officials.

Being of the sort that closely scrutinizes everything, I have come to know the proprietor and his long time associates, and felt comfortable in providing them access to my home outside of my presence. Absolutely nothing turned up missing nor was gone through and all work performed far exceeded my expectations. Hardman Construction is honorable, trust worthy and I will continue employing them in the furtherance of alterations to my home. Without reservation I highly endorse them.

From the contents of the posting I am of the opinion that it was done maliciously, quite possibly by someone who is disgruntled, otherwise envious or attempting to abscond from paying a debt.

An accusation with no proof whatsoever

AUTHOR: Pablo - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 26, 2007

Your $ 500 bike dissappears from between two cars and you immediately blame the workmen next door to you. Exactly what proof do you have that they stole it? How do you know that some kid walking down the street didn't see it well concealed and just walk up and ride off? If your so worried about it why was it just laying outside where anyone could take it? I would be insulted too if someone got something stolen and decided to blame me because I happened to be working next door. You've got no proof and thus no right to accuse anyone of a crime.
