Hughes Net Satellite Internet Stated Free installation and set up with money back if not happy with services within 30 days. Was charged $470. refunded $268. stated it was $200 service charge. Never received anything in writing Gaithersburg, Maryland

Ordered hughes internet per phone from salesman in South Carolina ask many questions regarding service and explained what it was being used for.  He stated had special of free installation and set up with new system. Unlimited internet access. If not happy with service full refund of my money just send the system back.

Order made, person come to install system moved dish on roof twice could not figure out how to connect it to the computer so he had to come back again.  No paper work was left when he finished installing.  No paper work ever received by mail.  Used the internet first day fine second day just past lunch it did not work.  Called company next morning and they stated we used our allowable time.  I said how can that be we have unlimited time per salesman we ordered from.  She stated no only 200 mb and we can spend more money to purchase more time.  Otherwise when you use the mb you are shut off for 24 hours.

I told the lady who in their right mind is going to pay you more money for a hour more time on the internet then be shut off again.  Dial up is way better at least your not froze out and I can get my work done and not have to go find internet somewhere else to use. 

Returning the unit is even more a challenge finally finding out where to send it and how.  The web site specifies what size box how much packing and how to pack items into box if not done properly they will not refund your money.  So after jumping through all the hoops you still do not get your money back, so the moral to this story is never believe a salesman and never trust anything that is not in writing.
