I watched the TV "info-mercial" on Saturday morning, called the number to get some information. There was no way to speak to a human being, only recorded messages -- even to take orders.

The offer was for the "Igia-Milinex" "Power-Storm Vacuum" -- a three in one vacuum, "dust-buster" and broom with attachments; for $119.70, payable either all at once (with accompanying "gift") or in three monthly payments of $39.99 each (no "gfit" included), through credit cards or electronic check. They even offer to "double" the order, for -- supposedly -- merely extra shipping and handling charges; i intended to use the second vacuum as a Christmas gift. I chose the three monthly payment option.

Later that day i logged onto the IGIA internet site to obtain contact information. I called the "customer service" number and timed the call -- i was on hold 45 MINUTES, with constant recorded reminders that the call "was important to them and they would be with me in a minute" . . . NOBODY answered the call, i finally had to cut it off at the 45 minute mark. I immediately sent an email to their customer service department, CANCELLING my order. I received back an email that "someone would respond within 24 hours." That was Saturday. It is now Wednesday evening; i have sent multiple emails to every email address provided by both Igia and Milinex, with NOT A SINGLE response by email or telephone.

Today my bank called to inform me of a "strange" request for a charge of OVER THREE HUNDRED and FIFTY DOLLARS from "Milinex-Igia" -- fortunately, i had mistakenly provided an erroneous account number and the bank could legally refuse to pay, without charging me "stop payment" fees.

If you are wise, you will NOT attempt to do business with MILINEX-IGIA -- they do NOT answer emails or telephone calls, and they attempt to charge MORE than TRIPLE what they advertise! AVOID these ripoff artists if you don't want to be another victim!
