This company is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. It's amazing to me how unconcerned they are of their paying clients. I went to them in trust because their company is one of many that's listed under Arizona's MVD legal interlock companies.

Within the first couple weeks, I was wrongfully charged $100 for two missed blows because my device was faulty. I was told to send an email to request a refund. I never received a refund. Instead, they just credited my bill.

The following month, I was mistakenly billed twice. I was instructed, once again, to send an email in order to receive a refund. I was refunded the money within 5 business days.

I got locked out of my interlock because of misunderstanding of how much time I had left to have it serviced versus what the device displayed. I had to take a bus to the nearest service center. Even though I made an appointment, I was asked to wait an hour until the serviceman arrived. He then acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and stared at the device like a completely foreign object. I proceeded to wait another hour, while he called Instant Interlock to find out how to service the device.

One day, my card was declined. I checked my account and was surprised to see a $50.00 charge from Instant Interlock withdrawn that very day. When I called Instant Interlock they said the charge was for my appointment made at noon that day. I explained that I had no appointment that day nor any issues with the device.  Fortunately, that time I was refunded the  money immediately.

After seeming like things were going fine for a couple months, I received a notice from the MVD explaining that my license was suspended because I wasn't in compliance with my court ordered interlock instructions. I was told by the MVD that it would cost $35.00 to reinstate my license. I called Instant Interlock confused and angry. They confirmed that they hadn't sent any reports to the MVD for the last 2 months. The woman I spoke to assured me that she'd straighten matters out. When I asked about being compensated the $35.00, she told me to send an email. I did and this time I never received a reply. I called theVD the next week and they said they voided the suspension on my license amd that there would be no fee. I just wish someone from Instant Interlock would have replied with an apology and explained that the fee could be avoided.

The next month, I was ready to have the device removed. I was frustrated with Instant Interlock and ready to be done dealing with them. I had an issue with billing. I owed $11.38. I asked that they send a bill since my debit card on file had been lost and therefore was deactivated. The woman in billing refused. I explained my situation and asked to have the fees removed because of the horrible service received. She was still absolutley unsympathetic. Once I found a card to use for payment, I couldn't get a hold of anyone in any department. I tried for 40 mins and finally received a call back. After I got the payment sorted out an hour later, it didn't matter because the service center was then closed. They closed an hour and a half earlier than the business hours posted on the door. Also, without any form of notice to me despite the fact that I told them what was going on with Instant Interlock and said that I'd be back. I wrote an unhappy email to Instant Interlock, hoping someone would understand my frustration and possibly compensate me somehow. I got the device uninstalled the very next morning, thanfully. 3 business days later and still no reply from Instant Interlock.

To the MADD lover..

You disgust me. Seriously, critiquing how an individual can be unsatisfied with the service received.. Regardless of the conditions that brought them to have an IID, you have zero right to make a comment like this. The reporter is still a consumer. It is unfortunate what happened to your son; however, claiming all drunk drivers should be in jail is an ignorant comment. Police will arrest anyone with any measure of alcohol in their system, be it mouthwash, 1 beer, or 20 beers, it does not matter to them. They are filling a quota and ignorant people like you slowly let higher authorities take away our freedoms because it’s “good for you”. Yes drunk driving is wrong, but your claims prove your ignorance, you know no details about the reporters DUI case. None. Zero. You don't know if he was stopped by a crooked cop looking to fill a quota, stopped with intent, or indeed drive drunk. Again, I am sorry for your loss. But you're an idiot.

How do you live with yourself

AUTHOR: How do you live with yourself - ()

POSTED: Saturday, October 26, 2013

This will be posted on every site I can find.  I lost my son to a drunk driver.  My son lost his life in a car accident caused by a sick person like you.  Why did I read your post, because after 7 years, I still search the internet for sick, pathetic individual who post complaints about their punishment for driving drunk.  The fireman at the scene found my son and my wife unconscious.  My son did not survive.  Each of you with your complaints about dealing with penalties you were given, should be ashamed.  You should actually be in prison.  Yes it sounds harsh, but you will never understand my pain until you show up at a hospital and the physician tells you your son has died.  I asked to see my son and what I saw can’t be explained in words.  The best thing about complaints like yours are that others can see them and respond.  Like your complaint, our response will be here forever.  I have seen a Facebook website which references the company in this complaint. It looks like a college frat party invite list.  Each member has joined to support sick minds like yourself.  Each and every member on that website is listed as supporters of a convicted drunk driver that created the site.  Each one of them can spend the rest of their life explaining to their potential college, employer, friends and family why they joined that site to support someone like the idiot that created it.  Each of them have a choice to make.  Unfortunately the drunk that killed my son, left me no choices, only pain.  That is the least each of them should be required to do.  Every member that complains about DUI laws and the punishment they receive, should be required to suffer like me.
