 James Spence Authentication (JSA) received a signature for authentication on 7/13/12.  The signature had an affixed JSA authentication sticker (the only reason the item was purchased).  JSA finally issued their report concluding the signature was not authentic on 11/27/12.  JSA removed the authentication sticker because they feel they did not authorize the sticker.  The delay in service, the cause of which JSA explains inconsistently, has made it difficult, if not impossible to obtain a refund.

Based on this situation, buyers should be be wary of JSA stickers as some individuals are able to get unauthorized access to them.  When this happens, JSA will not pursue the perpetrators as they cannot build a solid case.
