James White Plumbing JAMES WHITE PLUMBING OF CRYSTAL RIVER, FL HAS NO INTEGRITY! Crystal River Florida

Consumer beware of James White Plumbing of Crystal River, FL who was hired to install a new kitchen faucet that we purchased. His worker Tom came out and installed the faucet and charged $140. The minute he left we started to wash some dishes and a flood of water came rushing out from underneath the sink. He hadn't been gone 3 minutes when we called but no one answered office phone and we had to leave 2 messages. Finally Tom came back out and found out that the drain had cracked. Of course he tried to state that the drain was like that before we got there but in fact, he had apparently hit the plastic piping hard while trying to get under the sink, cracking the drain. Our original drain was a Kohler drain, in white.......which is the same color as our garbage disposal drain and other fixtures we have in the kitchen. There is no chrome anywhere. After several minutes of arguing that it wasn't his responisibility, he finally went to his truck and got a cheap chrome drain and replaced the one he broke. My husband told him we had a white one and that is what we wanted. He said that was all he had and put that in, grumbling the whole time. We called the owner and the owner first stated that he is not responsible for anything that happens that is not part of the original job (installing a faucet). When my husband asked him if he in fact was saying that if an employee damages something, they are not responsible and its our tough luck and the owner answered, yep, that's right. We asked that he have someone replace the chrome one Tom put in with a white one, since that is what was there originally and he stated our problem...........he doesn't install white drains, period and plus he was already losing money on the job and he refused to even discuss this any further. If we want a white drain, we are to go buy one ourselves and have someone else put it in. So anyone looking for a plumber in Crystal River/Homosassa Florida DO NOT USE JAMES WHITE PLUMBING, IN IN CRYSTAL RIVER, FLORIDA
