Jensen Tire And Auto Overpriced La Vista, Nebraska

Had two blown U-Joints replaced and an oil change and I asked for but didn't get my tires rotated. Jensen tire was able to get me in fast and do the repair in less than 2 hours...problem is, they charged me 171 dollars just for the labor on the U-Joint repair and 35 dollars per U-Joint though they sell for half that at a local NAPA store. I assume the shop time was one hour, so they must charge a 171 dollar per hour shop fee. I bought 4 new tires there one year ago and have bought several other complete sets of tires for other vehicles over the past 7 years. I asked them to rotate my tires and they didn't...the saleman stated that they leave the rotation decision up to the mechanics...huh? Tires haven't been rotated in 6 months and we had a rough winter with lots of potholes here...I thought the deal was that the tires would be rotated every six months, and/or upon customer request. Regardless, though I have no complaints about the quality (so far) of the repair on the U-Joints, the price is ridiculous and the parts costs to the consumer is inflated....furthermore, with the economy the way it is, I can't see any reason to not get a basic service provided when it's part of a service contract and especially after I am spending close to 300 dollars that I could have spent at a competitor...there are other places to do business with around here and thats what I plan on doing in the future.
