Michelle Casserd of Karoun Cattery has been breeding cats for over thirty five years, and in that time has not had one single complaint filed with Cat Fanciers Association, which is the governing body that handles these type of complaints. RoseMarie, on the other hand, has been permanently suspended from Cat Fanciers Assocoation, first on animal welfare charges, and then for the content of her website where she prints libelous material about breeders, and for the the continual harassment of those same breeders. This suspension can be verified by going to the Cat Fanciers Association web site, and reading page 30 of the minutes to the CFA Executive board meeting in June of 2004. It states, "Case No. 03-045, CFA v. Rose Marie, violation of CFA Constitution, Article XV, Section 4(a & g). GUILTY on both counts. Sentence imposed of life suspension of all CFA services." Section 4a reads, "Cruel or inhumane treatment in the breeding, keeping, showing, or otherwise dealing with felines." Section 4g reads, "Any act or conduct seriously and patently detrimental to the best interest and welfare of the cat and or the Cat Fanciers Association."
