I went to midtowncloseout.com i bought from them before when i live in Long Beach Area. I purchase a 3 Ctw Garnet & Diamond Ring solid 10k yellow gold
RGS-508 . Also i purchase a 1 CTW Diamond 10k gold heart Necklace item number ND-261. I got my shipment today , and i notice the necklace did not look like the one pictured i bought from there website. So i called a midtown talked to a guy name west he took my order number, my order number is 6556 i received email from there customer service with my information of my order i just placed with them at 12:52 pm on 9-5-2008 . So today i got the shipment they sent me a necklace i never ever saw like i told mr west on the phone i did not order this item at all. He said what does the invoice says i took it out box , and told him the name of the item and the cost. I then told him i am checking my history , and it shows i never ever looked at that item at all . The history showed this item i look at Product Code: ND-261 which i did not get at all in my shipment the ring was right but the necklace there showing is not the one he is sending out at all. I went to fresh my browser while i was on the phone he delete my history from there website along with the item i really purchase but i have my email conformation from there website showing my real purchase order. which is the heart necklace ND-261 . ND-186 is what they sent me then tryed to get smart talk crap to me saying i ordered that from there website . They are rude people at midtown very nasty talking on the phone my spouse called to tell Mr. West we were sending it back to him he then hung up the phone in his face . I just wanted to my item i told this guy mr west but he kept on saying i will refund your money back which i did not want a refund back only what i paid for i have proof of my purchase , and my bank called my home saturday to let me know someone was trying to put to purchases through from there website. I told the visa bank department to approve it for around 360.00 total because i was not at my pc when they called my home , and did not have time to log on to see the total charges but i do remember them being somewhere around 350 something . Anyways my account on midtown has been change by mr west he went in there to delete my history after i told him my history shows i never ever look at that item . But it did show the item number ND-186 the one he placed in there today after i called. The old history went back too 2006 when i first purchase from there site . Now there is not history of anything i bought but the item they place in the history which is ND-186 with a order number of 6657 which my order number is 6556 . My proof will be faxed to ripoff report tommorrow for consumers to beware of people on this website trying to take others for advantage then treat them like crap . I am open to any news cast wanting this story i have the emails , and proof . I have not sent anything back yet not until i take my photos and contact my bank about this item . Anyways since they are in my account deleting items out of it i dont trust this company will send my funds back to my bank account , and feel i will have to have a visa special case person go after them once i do ship my item back .Also i read there site rules i will be charge if i send something back to them . But the law states i dont have to pay no restock fee's on a item i did not purchase at all. Never in my life have i had anyone go in my account and change my order at all , and send me something i never ever ordered before . Bad Business midtowncloseout.com
watch your back if you do come across this site . Buyers beware of what you buy print everything for your records i been doing that for years, and i must say i won all my bank visa disputes with my emails , and print outs .
