I first found my 2008 Pathfinder on Auto Trader. I looked great, had every option I wanted, and the dealer was open to offers. I emailed my offer the same day I found it, within 30 minutes I received a phone call that they accepted my offer and we could mover forward. I could not believe my luck that everything fell into place so well and so quick.
Day 2-5, I asked for a faxed "SIGNED" buyers order so I could go to my bank since I was paying cash. Over this course of time I spoke with several sales people and managers about an extra $1200 in charges and fees as well as just trying to obtain a legit signed buyers order.
Once we had settled on the price I arranged for the vehicle to be transported since it was 4 hours away from me. When the transport arrived they waited for 3 hours because the vehicle was not ready, ( I had left a $500 deposit 3 days earlier) and heres where it gets good.
The vehicles arrives back and is missing CD changer, Heated drivers and passenger seat, Heated exterior mirrors, Power passenger seat, Power sliding/ tilt sunroof, and satellite radio. As if this wasn't enough the vehicle was filthy, covered in fallout (like it was parked next to a railway), front and rear bumpers where destroyed, large dents and scratches in pass front door and drivers rear door, there was a hole in plastic rear tailgate plastic the size of a fist, the second row cup holder was broken off and laying on the floor.
On the plus side when I was inspecting the upon its return I found an Astro Boy figurine where the jack should have been. What a deal!
I have called at-least twenty times since I received the vehicle and have left a message every time or have been put on hold and hung up on. I have tried to be reasonable in my effort for them to make this right because I love the truck but have gotten nowhere.
My advise, think twice and know you will have to spend some serious cash to make your vehicle right if you purchase from this dealer.
