I park my car next to my motorcycle every night for past 8 months......I park my car close to my motorcycle to give people to the left of my car more room to open their doors since the parking stripes are kinda tight....no one can park to the right of my motorcycle. There are bushes their. I was on my way to work the other morning and my car was missing. Redlight wreckers came onto private property and towed 6 cars at 130 am. They said my car was double parked because i had it to close to my motorcycle...I have never had a warning from apartment complex so I went to the office and explained and they said too bad nothing they can do about it..

I went to go pick up my car 8 hours later and it was 188.80 and ive heard the apartment complex gets a kickback from the tow company for towing cars out here in the early morning. My deal is I was taking up a little less than 2 parking spaces with my 2 vehicles....How the hell can this be illegal and a towing violation. The apartments i live at have plenty of empty parking spaces and parking is not an issue......I wish there is something i could do about this. Alot of my neighbors and friends have also been towed for any kind of reason this wrecker company can find.....It is a scam for poor people like me to pay more money.....Be late on rent and have a 170 dollar late fee.....them lose more money.....What has America come too?????

Redlight Wreckers Routinely Violates State Law

AUTHOR: Texas Towing Compliance - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, January 29, 2014

If they put on the receipt your vehicle was towed for being, "double parked", your in luck to collect $1566.40 from the apartment complex.  I highly recommend you contact Ryan Dunn at 512-236-1114 to retain their services on contigency, since seven other apartment complexes that use RedLight Wrecker were found guilty of statutory violations of the Texas Towing Law.

The only way possible for a vehicle to be towed for being double parked is if the vehicle is parked directly behind another vehicle preventing the vehicle from exiting the parking space.

Most common parking violations used by the majority of the honest towing companies can be found here at http://www.texastowingcompliance.com/texastowinglaw.html

Look at it this way, before summer, you will be richer than before because of this illegal towing behavior of Redlight's driver writing the wrong violation for being towed on the receipt, which carries both civil and criminal penalties.
