My sister, niece, and I all decided we needed to lose some weight and tone up. The staff was very nice and friendly and was very willing to sign us up. We all went to our individual orientation appointments. We were shown individual exercises and told we were entitle to another trainer session with our one year membership.

The club offered a eucalyptus/natural sunlight room. It was a great place to clear ones lungs and have a good sweat. They then changed to a machine that did not produce heat and the eucalyptus burned your eyes and lungs. So their method to remedy this was to put the old machine back in with the new machine so then you could sweat and still burn your eyes and lungs.

I was interested in building up my endurance and used the treadmills with the heart monitors on them. The heart monitor was more often than not unfunctionable and during my last three months when I went to the club they seemed to have given up repairing them.

I found they could not keep employees and by the end of my one year membership found only Patty Paxton, the club manager, and the accountant as the only steady employees. I was constantly forced to reacquaint myself with new employees and found this very inconsistent for me to benefit from the club. The club was always remodeling or having some sort of a contest to attact new members. This also added to the inconsistence of how the club ran.

They profess to be good LDS members and, therefore, are not open on Sunday. I am not LDS but I respect their beliefs. However, their beliefs are not very Christian when they don't notify anyone of when their contract is over and start charging more than the previous contracted price of $49.00. I believe it took my sister and niece two months worth of membership fees ($54.00 each a month) to finally stop the club from pilfering their checking account. Of course all of this is in "the contract." This company does not beleive in good customer service even though they try to put on the pusade they do. Good customer service would have offer us a new contract of which we may have stayed in the club. It would have not taken so long to stop their pilfering of my sister's account and a refund would have been the proper thing to do.

I guess this is how they maintain their palm trees!
