After looking over the circular they sent me in the mail I thought they were an honest company. I sent a check in the amount of $45.00 and never received the mailing materials which they were supposed to rush to me.

Robinson Publishing Almost Took my money!! thank god for Rip-off Report!

AUTHOR: Trena - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 18, 2004

I had recieved one of their circular letters, and I was just about to send off my $45 and also I had made copies for a few friends, but I had told them to wait before sending out their $45 I will send mine first and if it is a fraud at least they didn't lose their money..

so when was going to put a money order in the envelope, something told me to check it out, so I pull up whitepages.com to search for this company and then there was a link showing ripoffreport.com so I click on it, and it brought up this company and all the money they had stolen from people, I was very furious, I had this theory in mind about this company, I was thinking if I sent this money out, suppose this company could be a person who may have printed up these letters and envelopes and send them out to people who are looking for a home base business, and then us people who are needing extra money just send it to them thinking this company is legit, and that person just take off with money and there isn't any way we can find them, but we are out of $45, and to me $45 is a lot of money, especially if you live paycheck to paycheck, so I am glad that I discovered this website rip-offreport.com, I will thank god alway for me looking this up before I sent my money, so I email all my friends about this company... I hope they get caught real soon!!

They actually refunded my $45.00

AUTHOR: Jeffrey - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 18, 2004

I couldn't beleive it when I got an email from the Better Business Bureau in West Palm Beach, Florida. They contacted Robinson Publishing regarding my complaint. Robinson publishing informed the WPB BBB that my refund was being sent to me. I received a money order in the amount of $45.00 from Robinson Publishing in the US mail the same day.

They make it sound like they send you the envelopes & stamps in their package. Not True!

The company finally sent the materials and there is one word in their original flyer that they should make clear, "Procured". You have to procur the envelopes and stamps yourself by placing their circulars around your town, requesting a SASE from potential clients. They make it sound like they send you the envelopes & stamps in their package. Not True!

I reported Robinson Publishing to the Better Business Bureau. The BBB has many complaints on their site and Robinson Publishing has refused to supply the BBB with any information about the company.

I would also suggest to anyone getting mail from this company to file a report with this site, the United States Postal Service, the US Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau in your area.

Together, and with the help of this site, we can make a difference!
