Uhaul U-haul Price magically increases Nationwide

I tried to reserve a truck and trailer online to move a 6-hour distance. I also reserved a spot with professional movers, which was organized through Uhaul (I only wanted movers to load the truck, not to drive and not to unload). I was led to believe the mover charge would be $150 and the total would be about $450. I was to pick up my truck on sunday at my local Uhaul.

Immediately after I finish the order, I get a call from customer service saying they don't have any such truck at my location, and that I would have to drive to Kermit, 1 hour west, to pick up my truck, and that location wasn't open on sunday. Fine, that's only a major inconvenience but I already paid a deposit, wtf else am I going to do? Well I get there and they charge me a whopping 650 freaking dollars. I ask the woman why and her only explanation is a shrug and that Uhaul messes up everybody's orders, and so many people have complained about them.

Every little thing was more expensive, even the d**n insurance magically jumped from $22 to $56. To top it all off the $150 for the movers wasn't even included, I had to pay that out of pocket later for a total of 800 dollars to move, almost twice the initial quote. But what was I going to do I already invested my time and effort into moving that day and I'm sure that's why Uhaul gets away with this, everybody's too desperate to walk away at that point. Screw Uhaul forever I will go out of my way to use Penske or Y'all Haul or anyone else and I'll advise my friends to do the same.
