On 8/23/08 I went to VIP to replace the starter on my boat. The salesman took the time to match the starter to a Chev. truck starter and charged me $154.99 for a starter with a " lifetime warranty".

When the starter failed a month later, I was told there was no warranty because I used it in a boat.

Now I have $154.99 worth of scrap metal.

These people will do anything to make the the sale, but nothing to service the customer.
