Beware of this Rip Off if purchasing a vehicle from Franklin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Franklin TN @cdjroffranklin 

Anyone want to see a dealership that is exactly WHY people are scared to buy a vehicle look no further than this GEM. 

**BEWARE** Words don’t cut it how Dodge Chrysler JEEP RAM of Franklin treats its customers. Had I known what I know now I would have NEVER contacted them to buy ANYTHING from them. FOUR year saga… that’s ended with a sorry don’t know what to tell you RUN AROUND.

The END result BOUGHT and PAID in FULL for a 5 year 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty to PROTECT us from catastrophic failure. The truck was bought modified with a lift kit FROM THE DEALERSHIP… however when discovered by the warranty company that the truck was lifted they said they will not honor the blown transmission. 

Where is the dealer NO WHERE to be found.

A: told us 30 days before we could bring it in to even determine the issue 

B: failed to provide our warranty documentation (to this day) to bring elsewhere 

C: finally after 4 calls and 3 days instructs us their HQ has the docs.  





So we waited 2 weeks and scheduled the  check up there. After two weeks we arrive just to be denied service because we had a “Chevy” although THEY sold it to us. Then their HQ again failed to produce said warranty. We waited a week for Chevy to see us .. 4 days in the warranty company denies the claim because of the lift kit that was on the truck the day we bought it.

Called the dealer on FRI mid day sorry no one’s in the office to help. Called back can you help with a rental or provide a loaner until this is resolved? NO. So I’m just stuck with a 20k truck a worthless $3000 warranty NO transportation and a someone will call you back “like the previous” calls? WOW lastly from MILE ONE the day of purchase the check engine light came on they shrugged it off (19) failed emissions later over 2000 of MY $ later NO answers and NO passed emissions you think they were there to help?

ABSOLUTELY NOT passed me off to Chevy on my dime. This dealer is a JOKE they will AVOID any responsibility SELL you trucks with KNOWN issues (found out later my truck was originally a return) and $3k warranties that were VOID the day you drive off don’t just avoid RUN!

Did I mention how they sent me an email offering $13k cash for my truck but when there agent called to have me “bring it in” and I wouldn’t unless I seen more firm numbers I was offered $7k 1/3 of what I paid them for it After reading the 1 STAR reviews from the better business bureau and their very own page at least I know I’m not alone. That’s ok live and learn I just hope someone else doesn’t end up making the same mistakes so many others have made. This company is riddled with lies and deception and pure lack of fair policy when dealing with customers. We deserve better happy shopping.

What Did The Warranty Policy Say?

 When you were presented with this "warranty" at the sales closing, what did the policy say in regard to exclusions? If you ever saw such paperwork, why on earth did you agree to buy it if you haven't the slightest clue what it does and doesn't cover?

Not much in the way of COMMON SENSE here, eh? EVERY WARRANTY has exclusions. NO WARRANTY covers everything which can go wrong and especially these STUPID modifications which do cause extra wear on the drive line=FACT!
