First of all, Robert showed up an hour and forty minutes before my appointment time. There was no notice given that I received.

After diagnosing the problem, he offered to install a small piece of PVC pipe to vent the drain line to relieve the "vapor lock" in the drain. Robert verbally quoted a cost of $313 for fifteen to twenty minutes' installation of a one dollar piece of plastic as a vent.

He told me this was the ONLY way to fix the problem. When I asked him for a picture of what it would look like, he REFUSED to show me a picture. THE EXPENSIVE VENT WAS DECLINED.

Key point: He did not verify freon levels In either the inside or the outside unit. 

I called another company who found Freon was low. NO vent was needed or installed. FREON fixed the problem.

After I posted an unflattering Google review of the company, Robert's superviser called to accuse me of harassing Robert while he was here. Thus blaming the victim, a type of intimidation.

This company is guilty of sending an incompetent repair person and attempted price gouging.

All of this happened Thursday, July 6, 2023 before 1:15 pm.
